ACC cup
I know the Asian Associate Cricket Cup started yesterday. All non test playing cricket nations perticipate in it to be bes in Asia. Also, the finalists qualify to the Asia Cup. But I cant find any website on it yet.
Hongkong and Arab Amirates are favorites. However, I am looking forward to Nepal. Lets see how the forecasted "To be the 5th test team of Asia" does.

Daily Star
You won't find any website on the ACC tournament.
Daily Star has reported that Asia Cup 2001 will be the next tournament and the Asia cup 2002 will be the 2nd next tournament whenever any Asia cup is held anywhere.
And that Hong Kong and UAE will be playing the 2001 Asia cup and the finalists of this ACC cup will be playing in the 2002 Asia cup.

Nepal
Wow. Nepat beats Maloyshia in Semifal and moves to the Final, qualifying for the Asican Cricket Cup which gurantees them 100,000 dollars for cricket funds.
They are surely coming along a lot faster than BD did. I think its their 4th year as ICC associate.
They will Play Arab Amirates in the final, who already beat them bad in the group match by 6 wickets.

Attitude (and link)
It's all in the ATTITUDE. Nepal and Kenya has it WE DON'T. Well, not our players at least.
You missed the FULL coverage on cricinfo ? Even though criicnfo didn't run the results of the Bangladesh match (vs BCCSL) they continuedly given front page coverage to the ACC trophy. Goes to show what most folks out there think of our cricket. The sad thing is, our players are the only ones to blame for this demotion. If our players had played well (to their potential) we wouldn't have had to live with this treatment. *sigh*

Let\'s get ROY
(Please read the news below)
Roy's boys overwhelmed us (not to forget the humiliaton) in the under 19 World Cup and now he has taken Nepal to the Aisan Cup where they might end up playing Bangladesh. So, before Roy can do any more damage, we need to get him all to ourselves.
Anyone want to second that ?
We do have Mohsin, that might work out. Let's see how the one-dayers look against Sri Lanka.

ACC Trophy Final
Nepal and UAE to fight it out
AFP, Singapore
Nepal continued their fairytale run in cricket Friday with an upset win over Malaysia to join defending champions United Arab Emirates in the finals of the ACC Trophy tournament.
After winning the toss and batting first, Nepal were held to what appeared to be a conservative 181 for nine off their 50 overs, but then dismissed Malaysia for 156 with two overs to spare.
In the other semifinal, UAE beat Hong Kong by 87 runs to make the finals for the third time in this the fourth ACC Trophy tournament.
Nepal's success in Singapore ensures them of a place in the Asia Cup tournament and follows the performance of their youth side which earlier this year made the finals of the plate championship at the Under-19 World Cup.
Both sides are coached by former Sri Lankan Test player Roy Dias.

I second that. I am sure, at this pace, in 2 year, Nepal will beat us.
