Remembering those few days again just before the 1st Test..
Day 1: Bangladesh 355/5 (Rajin Saleh 35*, Khaled Mashud 2*; 88 overs)
Day 2: Bangladesh 427, Australia 145/6 (Gilchrist 51*, Lee 13*; 52 overs)
Day 3: Australia 269, Bangladesh 124/5 (Rajin Saleh 29*, Khaled Mashud 0*; 41 overs)
First BD innings: Shahriar Nafees-138 Habibul Bashar-76 Rajin Saleh-67
First AUS innings: Mashrafee 2/56 Rafiq 5/62 Enamul Jr. 2/25
BD-AUS 1st Test, April 2006 Scorecard
The match ultimately stretched to a full 5 day encounter full of thrills... and we all know what would have happened if Mashrafee could hold on to the catch of Ponting that 5th day afternoon.
I dont care if BD has not played test matches for a year! Remembering that fascinating match right now... just before BD restarts its first Test match after a long break now.
Wishing BD to show some real nerves and make the opposition sweat tomorrow!

have you heard the expression... "almost doesn't count" it is used in america all the time. so win it or don't win it, remeber, you have not won it until it is won, fight till the end, then we can start praises/happiness.
come on bangladesh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still that test match is a painful memory to me. I hope we don't make up some heroes from Indian team this time, as we always do with opponent. It's high time to make heroes from our own team ... waiting for that moment, good luck.

Oh... THAT test match...
every single moment is still fresh on my mind...
..still wonder sometimes...what could have happened...
i remember somthing crazy ive done to ensure i can watch the first test..:
i deliberately cut my hand at work ( not much but a little fair bit)..so that the boss would hv no other choice but to give me few days off!!
...and thats all i needed....
didnt even hv to use up my sick leaves or come up with lame excuses...
he he.. genius plan worked just fine...
and what followed during the match... i couldnt ask for more.
Medicine for the cut n browse..... $10
Beers for the next few days ........$100
Bangladesh scaring the bejesus out of Australia.... PRICELESS
There is something money cant buy....
For everything else..there is Bangla Tigers.
