Let's talk about the First XI for the Chittagong test
My first XI for the chittagong test with the batting order:
1. Shahriar Nafees
2. Javed Omar
3. Habibul Bashar
4. Md. Ashraful
5. Sakid-al-Hasan
6. Tushar Imran
7. Khaled Mashud
8. Md. Rafique
9. Mashrafee Mortaza
10. Enamul Haque jr.
11. Shahadat Hossain Rajib
According to Prothom-Alo today, Tushar Imran has got fever and Habibul has got cold. In the worst case, if any of them in unfit, I think Rajin Saleh should get the chance ahead of Mehrab jr.

Did you simply dream up this batting order, or is this the actual order, or the players picked for the upcoming test against Ind?.

My Preference for the First Test: (Team with batting order)
1. Shahriar Nafees
2. Javed Omar
3. Habibul Bashar (captain)
4. Saqibul Hasan
5. Mohammad Ashraful (vice-captain)
6. Rajin Saleh
7. Khaled Mashud
8. Mashrafe Mortaza
9. Mohammad Rafique
10. Enamul Haque jnr
11. Shahadat Hossain
12. Mehrab Hossain jnr (12th man)
13. Syed Rasel (Extra)
I would have liked to see another fast bowler in the playing 11; but unfortunately we don’t have any more pace bowlers worthy enough to be included in the test team.

I think Pilot could still make a decent contribution with the bat especially since he won't be in as much pressure as he would be when playing in ODI's. His strike rate isn't the most convincing but he's been a batsmen that has contributed regularly to a pretty good partnership when the Bangladeshi innings were in trouble. We should be proud of him and continue to support him. GO BANGLADESH GO

Unfortunately this will not be the case. No BD batsman ever produced a good solid returning innings in test and as far as I am concerned this will be a repeatation for Pilot. But definitely if there is turn in the pitch we might enjoy some scintillating wicket keeping and stumping display from him.

I agree 110% with Yaseer's team...Shahadat over Rasel, Enamul over Razzak, Tushar over Rajin/Mehrab and having SN and Bashar at the right spots...u got them all right mate!

the reason why Russell not in my team is his inefficiency with old ball....the pitches are totally dead and he will get no swing whatsoever with old ball...and without swing, i can't see Russell taking wickets as he has got no pace.

this sentence is going to confuse a lot of people. Rephrase it perhaps ? Say, Pilot has always been part of the Test team, so this is not exactly a return for Pilot... something like that.

Who told you? Rajin Saleh did, during the OZ home series. After playing the second test against England in 2005during the 2005 ENG tour, he didn't play any test until that OZ series. It was about 10 months break.

This one looks better to me. Though I reckon JO will be there in the place of Mehrab. But, I would love to see this line up play.

Rasel cant play because bowling 115kmhs is cannonfodder on dead pitches. Rajib might go for some runs but at least we have an extra bowler in Sakib. The team picked is pretty much fine. Nafees should open and Ash at 4.

Even though im badly labelled as a Tushar-hater in BC.. but i would still want him to play in tests..its been a long time he got a chance in the longer version.. i hope he woudnt do bad.. like he's habituated to do in ODI's.
But on the other hannd.. I woudnt mind RAJIN in TUSHAR's spot either.
Seeing this batting order..dropping aftab seems like a right decision..and I miss Mushfiqur's solid batting.. you can always hope for a ton from Mushy with indian bowling attack.. but KM..u never know

the way news are coming...seems like Habibul, Tushar can't make it to the team.......and both Rajin and Mehrab jr. need to play. Not very good news......players are looking weak...and need to play under immense heat at Chittagong.......
The team which can survive in the heat...will have the definite edge.
