ganguly didn't do anything wrong...he might be giving honest advice...i mean he was in a similar situation, and he didn't quit.

problem is bashar is nowhere near ganguly's calibre in any dept, be it batting, fielding, bowling, or captaincy.

lets look at bashar past and present:

- never technically sound
- never played smart
- poor captaincy
- mentally weak and timid
- poor fielder
- irresponsible thru most of his career

add all that up and you have a recipe for disaster. imagine such a buffon leading the aussies. now imagine how much that hurts a team like ours.

the only positive bashar has is that he has been a good guy in terms of forging teams spirit and also was very unselfish in many key partnerships that won us big matches.

The fact that you and I can see the points I underlined in the post means that even ganguly would know about them. Hence the advice from ganguly is anything but honest advice.
