He has not been given enough exposure against stronger oppsition to make that judgement just yet! And he did sacrifice pace for line and lngth in the one game he played in the WC...but can u blame him considering the situation he was in? One bad game..he's out! With all due respect...not even Masri can deal with that kinda pressure!

I don't think Shahadat should be labelled a bad ODI bowler just yet. He hasn't played that many ODIs to make such a judgement. He is somewhat wayward in his line and length but that's coz he is aggressive and wants to bowl quick - I reckon a specialist bowling coach ( hpfully won't be long now ) will help him a lot. He is our most promising pacer, after Mashrafe, by a long way and should be groomed properly. However, I would agree that at the moment Rasel is a better ODI bowler than him.
