Default Favourite ODI/TEST Century

Let me start.

My favourite from both format.

ODI: Mohammad Ashraful Vs Australia in Cardiff.
Test: Tamim Iqbal's lord century. First Bangladeshis name on lords board.

Which is your favourite for both formats?

Only Tamim has a century in T20.
Maybe Sabbir/Soumya will score the next one.

ODI: Kevin O'Brien 2011 WC

Test: BC Lara's 153* vs Australia with Walsh holding down one end to secure that win. There's nothing quite like it.

Check out the batting from Walsh...and hear the roar of the crowd.

Nice picks. I remember that brilliant KOB knock.

My overseas favourites:
ODI: Virat Kohli 183 Vs Pakistan, Asia Cup. What a sublime knock, chase master!
Test: Hashim Amla 311 Vs England - determination, class and hunger!

What's your favourite from Bangladeshi cricketers?

I still watch Soumya's 127 on youtube at times!
Classy knock! And the way he took them on! Such delight to watch.

I saw that Kohli century live. Stay up during the winter night just to watch it. The Aussies were trolling him, but he replied with the bat.

I haven't seen that 183..but I have read about it.

Were you old enough to have watched that Lara century?

Laxman's 281 against Aussies was surely better than Kohli's knock but I started following cricket only after 2007 t20 WC

Ohh, you're so young kiddo...

When I was 3 years old, I got to go see regional matches with my father...in those times, guys like Walsh, Ambrose, Lara, Hooper, Richardson, Bishop, Jimmy Adams all represented their respective countries... and so there was a very competitive atmosphere.

Yep, against a rampaging Johnson and co, almost single handedly won us test, even a cynic like Ian Chappel said it was one of the best innings he had ever seen. I think Kohli underachieved in test, in my opinion he has a higher ceiling than Root, Kane and Smith, people often underrate him due to one bad series in England.

Can't we also include T20s?

Age is just a number, don't let my age deceive ya, I have the wisdom of a sage.

You were so damn lucky man!! in my entire life I have only watched only 3 cricket matches and all of them were IPL matches, I may sound weird but I actually enjoy watching on TV instead of being in the gallery.

Sure.
I didn't think about it as our boys (apart from Tamim) don't have any.

Missed that Lewis century though, saw lot of tweets about it on that day.

Yeah, I was doing a comparison of us at age 3.

The cricket ground was super close to my home, so that was one of the perks also.

I do enjoy it on tv also, but the quality of some of the commentary leaves a lot to be desired.

So which current T20 century had you on the edge of your seat?

There's a Habibul Bashar century in the Caribbean in 2004-5 that I recalled him playing the short balls with confidence.

They were batting first in the test match, and by lunch on day one, he was close to 100
