Default The Pink City- Cricket মেধার খোঁজে latest

I found this article on Jaijaidin about the Pink City cricket medar khuje. I remember a thread about it months ago when it initially started but here is the latest. They picked up 73 young cricketers out of 14 thousand who took part in the trial and started a new trial yesterday in Dhaka. Here is the link:

http://www.jaijaidin.com/view_news.p...ue=43&nav_id=4

Seems like there are some very exciting prospects. Atleast Khaled Mahmud seemed very excited. Any reaction?

Great effort. They must have this every year.

Couldn't resist the topic below that.
Grass trimmer hand machines not working for BCB? All seven of them? In US, we fix our own lawn mowing/grass trimmer machines. How hard it is to fix these machines? changing blades, belt etc? if the motor is out buy another motor thats it.

The fat boys are sitting upstairs and doing nothing. It is high time that they start learning on how to fix their own machines or buy a warrenty plan.

Everything sounds great ... except that Chacha is excited ... hope he doesn't try to mold these kids into great cricketers in his own image ... that will never work.

Confused by the title I thought "medar" = মেয়েদের. Changed the thread title to bangla to remove confusion

Oh! I thought I understood why Chacha was excited, but now I am confused again.

I know you are the founding president of 'No More Chacha Club'. I am also a member of that club. But I would be glad if he could mold these kids into his. Just by trying and sheer guts he won matches for us at international level. Imagine what would happen if Ash or Aftab has only 50% of his guts. Chacha may be the most overrated cricketer evr to play for Bangladesh (because talent wise he was as good as 2nd div cricketer) but he is a tiger just for his sheer guts and never say die spirit.

hm.. exciting moments ahead of us.. lets see if we can find any good crickets out of these hunts...
on chacha note...yap, i never liked him as a cricketer too..but that guy does have that never-say-never spirit.. good political brain as well.. he would be better suited as an administrator..

good luck to all of them..

one more note : does the decision makers or admins in our country knows that the colour pink is associated with women ?? i dont think so.. plz can someone pass the message to them.. cuz next thing u'll see is those boys wearing pink uniforms and playin cricket..that would create a humorous roar in the international arena..

Yeah, yeah, yeah ... I know, I know. Chacha has guts for sure.

Anyway, I see that I have hurt feelings of Chacha admirers. And I am sorry. I don't want JO fan club joining hands with Chacha fan club against me ... I would be squashed like an ant under a lot of ... guts ... and may be get some wild slashes of the bat too ...

I would not join with anyone to bash you. Actually I want you join with Spitty, Sovik and Me "JO Bash Club". Please write a Mohakabbo for JO like you did for Chacha.

so? what's wrong with pink? May be our boys will set up an example. See, pink batch is associated with fight against breast cancer. so even if they do wear pink uniforms and go out to the filed, the world will be amazed seeing our boys in pink and might get encouraged and then the ICC will make a new law enforcing all countries to wear pink uniforms! Then in the world cup, there will be no more boring group names like Group A, group B blah blah. We will have exciting names like Group Light Pink, Group Hot Pink, Group Fuchsia, Group Magenta, Group Orchid.. WOW... will make the whole darn tournament sooooo freakin exciting!! And not to mention it will be good for the players too. Dark color absorbs heat... can you imagine playing 10 hours under a hot sunny day? jeez! But a light, soothing color such as pink could do the trick! And it's also a pleasure for eyes. Can you imagine?! Now how could you possibly say no to PINK?!

GO PINK!
