I must admit as a ManUnited fan that this Chelsea team just scares me. They are also very nice to watch. Arsenal like passing and efficient finishing should put everyone on alert in EPL including United. Easy win tonight..

The all exciting quarter finals of the champions league are back , Liverpool and Chelsea will face each other for the ninth time in Europe and in the fifth consecutive season in the Champions League.

My Predictions over both legs:

Man Utd 3 - 1 Porto

Villarreal 0 - 1 Arsenal

Barcelona 3 - 2 Bayern Munich

AND ,

Liverpool 0 - 1 Chelsea

Crushing result for Chelsea. United not so good yesterday. Something is missing from them this year. Maybe, too much winning does that. They don't look as hungry to me. Barcelona is unstoppable right now. I won't bet against them.

Owen Hargreaves who did your dirty work and Christiano Ronaldo whose attitude on the pitch and work-rate are a shadow of the player we saw representing you last season.

Nevile given his age is simply not fit enough to play at this level of and then players like vidic, evans, o'shea make silly mistakes on a regular basis now.

I still expect Man U to go there and do what no English team has done. Beat Porto at home.

As for the Liverpool Chelsea game ,

Masterclass from Hidddink !Ivanovic for me was the man of the match and Essien 'the machine' showed enough reasons why he is still the world's best midfielder.

News report: Michael Essien has been diagnosed almost 12 stones overweight. Confusion was cleared up when the found Steven Gerrard in his back pocket.

I agree. Loss of Hargreaves is huge. Also, too many useless players in the middle, specially in the game on Tuesday. Scholes, O'Shea, Flethcer trio stunk. Evans was clueless. Neville is old. Not having Rio and Berbatov also hurt big time. Evra is the only player in defense that plays with guts. Ronaldo dissapers too often for my liking. Hopefully, you are right. Maybe, we can go and beat Porto at home. For that to happen, we need Rio, Berbatov to play. And, I still don't know why Fergie doesn't play Tevez.

Essien shut down Gerrard completely. Masterpiece!

What an Effin Game, Hats off to Both Liverpool and Chelsea(A Lesser Would have Surely folded) foiling 2 Comebacks in one game. I rerally thought it was over at 6-3 Agg, Torres comes out and than 81' and 82' goals have me thinking of another Liverpool Miracle. Lamps Scores and than Essien makes a ridiculos save with his head at the goal line from preventing another one.

Reina letting that soft goal was the killer

Cech is gonna have nightmares facing Barca if he keeps this up

What a mental game .Absolute topsy turvy . I died a thousand deaths in a span of two hours .Thank God Chelsea had Lampard and Drogba.

Cech had one of his worst games in a Chelsea jersey .Terrible goal keeping by his standards and is no longer the player he was since his head injury . It could also be down to John terry's absence at the back to marshall the defence.

Chelsea's performance in the first half was embarrassing and credit to Liverpool for launching those attacks even without Gerrard . Torres , I think is NOT that same lethal striker with the absence of his captain .He was missing today and Lucas surprisingly MUST have given his best performance in a liverpool shirt.

My man of the Match : Didier Drogba , Scored 1 and created two .

For me , He is the best striker in the world . You might argue Eto and Torres are better but Seriously can you rely on any of these two to carry the team on their shoulders just like Drogba did tonight ?

What a game indeed. Congrats to Chelsea.

Cech clearly is not the same goalie and he is worse when there is a bit of rain in the air. He misjudges long balls too often and the first goal was just inept. If you remember, he was awful against Turkey in the Euro under similar conditions.

Drogba is indeed the MOM. He continues to eat Carraghers lunch. He is simply not strong enough to keep up with him. Drogba wins every long ball with his back to the goal. Carragher either fouls ( as he did with the free kick which Alex spectacularly scored ) or gets beat. Putting Anelka quickly was a good move as well. His cross to Drogba was great. Reina is an average goalie and I wasn't surprised that he screwed it. Drogba is one of the best strikers. No doubt. His size and strength can't be matched. Ibrahamovic comes close when it comes to that physical aspect.

United will make history tomorrow. Down goes Porto..

Porto just plays substandard football. I was convinced to watch the manU-Porto hearing how well Porto played last week in old trafford. Porto strikers didnt know what they were doing inside opponent's penalty box...... anyway well done ManU.... ManU vs Arsenal should be a classic.....

Bervatov after today's game convinced me enough that he aint worth the 30 million quid Utd paid for. With Tevez ,United look more threatening .Porto wingers just cant put a decent ball in the box and even if they do their strikers horribly mess it up.

So one English team guranteed a place in the finals . This has to be strongest champions league semi final ever.

Why should he ? They don't pay him £100k+ a week for playing in the national team.

While Chelsea-Pool was a classic game, it was also error-strewn with many basic errors committed by defenders and the 2 GK's. The first leg was of a higher standard compared to the 2nd..
