BD might not even play in the next WC, The ICC is mulling the idea of getting the bottom 2 teams in the ICC ranking play the associates to win a place in the 10 spots.

Sorry dudes, Bangla is not advancing from Group B. I can't see them beating SA. They could England (not likely but more probable than beating SA), but I doubt that may be enough to see them through. Bangla's NRR took a massive massive blow today.

Who said anything about "dreaming"? It's a sane and calculated expectation of a team that got Test Status for 10 years and despite many false starts has produced some great results. Both subsequent matches should be viewed under the light of 'independent events'...

Yes, they have to beat England. They have a very good chance if they bat first.

Yes by beating SA in our last match even though Eng will beat us in Chittagong but will lose to SA and WI.
Prepare for the biggest celebration of our lifetime.

ok. Welcome to Banglacricket dude.
so you think SA and WI wont be able to beat Eng? I can clerly see Gayle alone murdering English bowlers and sending them pack home.

Thanks bro
I'll be honest with you SA are a bunch of chokers, I would not put anything past them. Secondly the game between England and WI is tight to call as it stands, it may go either way. Keep in mind England have been scoring at a prolific rate. Granted their bowling has been horrific but if a team keeps scoring 290 plus they will be on the winning end more often than not. Given the form of Strauss, Bell, Trott and Pietersen I would expect England to continue the trend
I think the only way Bangla can book their ticket to the QF is to win all 3 games. I would not want to bank on the perfomance of the other teams.
Just my opinion

The only way I see for us to advance to the next round is if we atleast win 2/3 remaining matches. England have to loose atleast 2/3 remaining matches. Ireland needs to loose atleast 3/4 remaining matches. With our poor run rate we are not going anywhere!

The only way we can get to the quarters is if we win against england and netherlands and if England Loose to WI and South Africa....
Otherwise we need to win all three remaining matches....which I don't see happening...heck I don't think we'll even win against England because they'll be hurting after the Ireland match....
WI will win against Ireland and their NR is way better than us.....
so overall I say no realistic chance.

The only way for BD to still make it to the QF is by winning all 3 of the remaining matches.
Given how the world suddenly turned upside down in this World Cup (yes, if you look carefully, even the Ireland match was awful, saved by some throw away by the Irish), I will not be surprised if we lose to Holand now.
I know what you are going to say, never stop believing. I believe they will come good eventually if allowed by ICC, but the pressure that broke the team in this WC is not amendable in next 3 games.
