Will batting first be a key factor in this T20 worldcup?
First two matches in this T20 worldcup has finished and we have seen that the teams batting first clearly out performed the opponents. I have a feeling that toss will play a key role in this tournament and batting first will have clear advantage.

if there were Maxwell and Watto in our team even 202 looked paltry sum

True.
But was it only me or others also felt that the pitches became tougher for batting in the second innings in the both matches? Looked like the ball started to do a bit more than the first innings.

I think we are better suited for defending because our batting line-up just doesn't have the mental fortitude to be chasing totals.

May be. But in case of our game against Pakistan, it wouldn't mattered if we batted 1st or 2nd.
It was a good batting pitch with ball crossing the field really fast. It was a perfect pitch for high scoring game. Unfortunately this kind of pitch we will never win (unless we are lucky) as our batsman are not capable to score beyond 160+. You need to score 180+ to win a game in these kind of pitch.

West Indies won the toss and elected to field against England. Let's see how it goes.

No, but for us, it decisive as we cannot chase anything beyond 150.
We need to play more t20 cricket and prepare flatter wickets in the BPL.

WI easily won this by chasing a good total 182.
