Humayun Kabir, Dhiman Ghosh, Nasimuddin Faruk, Kafi Khan, Ashikur Rahman, Arman Rajon, Najmul Hosain, Arif Hossain...
Has there been an indiscriminate national draft instituted for cricket? Who are these valiant young men about to hook Harmison for six, half an inch off their left eyebrows?

These are all regular youth team members. Don't know why we are not playing our A team members and some of a national players. I think we needed to do some of that instead of letting some of this youth team members take on the Brits.

Well, the selectors will argue that they want to unearth new talent, maybe ??
If so then even, what good will that serve ?? Mehrab, Ashraful, Seezan....no good so far !
I think some of our national team batsmen should have played..no bowlers though !
Players like Rajin, Hannan, should have been their.
Besides, these warm ups are usually not a good barometer to anything. Our players play 1 time lucky innings, and the visitors are merely warming up.
I say we go with Tehsin's thought...more players who have potential to break into the national team in the near future than every Biplob, Sabuj, and Asgar there is on the street.
Ir just seems that we have too many teams..
Anyway, where am I going wrong here ......??

Practice ODI should also be used for our team\'s practice...
we should not let this opportunity to pass by...even this practice match could be used for our "practice" for the next test and matches...we will have more opportunities to play these young players or we can take them later to England to play against county or league teams to prepare them...BCB should arrange that with English county later if they want to prepare these newcomers...but now our goal is to get that good performance and win...so i believe we should play couple of national or A team players...f

Ashraful - vice captain
Isn't playing Ashraful sound a little odd?
After all, he was said to go and play in league teams and perform in domestic cricket, and now he is again being said to play for the BCB Development squad.
I don't know much about the following players -
Humayun Kabir
Dhiman Ghosh (WK).
Nasimuddin Faruk
Kafi Khan
Ashikur Rahman
Manjurul Islam
Arman Rajon.
Najmul Hosain
Gazi Alamgir
But I know that the following 2 players have a chance here to get some experience to play for Bangladesh in the future -
Shafaq Al Jabir
Talha Zubair
I think this boy - Arif Hossain is a very young leg spinner from probably an Under - 17 or an Under 15 team? I think he is a well known leg spinner from the age group level - after Ashraful's leg spin (I mean I have been hearing Arif Hossain, the leg spinner's name before Ashraful - the batsman's name - in the Under 17 cup a couple of years back)?
Arif hossain
