I like your line up but Rakibul should be replaced by Ashraful. I want Nayeem to come at 1, he deserves it.

with the team they played in the first match this would be my order:

1 tamim
2 raqibul
3 shakib
4 naeem
5 riyad
6 ash
7 junaid
8 mash
9 mushy
10 shahadat
11 rubel

if razzak were to play then he bats at 9 and mushy bats at 10. mushy isn't a good enough hitter to come in ahead of mash or razzak if it's the last say 2 or 3 overs and he shouldn't get into the top 4 ahead of any of the players i would put in there so he bats at 9 or 10. ash is at 6 because he's not reliable enough to bat at 3.

Ash is not a no.3 material. Siddons with hagu matha thinks so. Ash shouldn't bat higher than 4 and lower than 6 in any format.

You move our best batsman from first game to number 7. Then put a super slow batting roqib at opening?

Also, I dunno why everyone is putting sakib up so high. He hasnt really been the best bat. Personally I think its better if hes lower down, as a finisher.

I would have

Tamim
Zunaed
Riyad
Ash
Naeem
Sakib
Rokib
Musfiq
Mash
Razzak
Rubell

junaid should be played as the late order hitter imo, shakib is high in the order because he's the team's most reliable batsman. raqib opens so he can play the anchor role until he's ready to hit out, plus he has more chance of hitting out and being successful in the first few overs with the fielding restrictions.

yusuf pathan is one of india's best 20/20 batsmen yet he didn't get a proper bat against BD because they play him low in the order, later order hitter is an important role in t20s.

let's face it, the order is basically made for us and i'll give you the reasons.

1) tamim is the best opener thus he opens and is a decent hitter.
2) shakib is the most reliable thus he bats at 3.
3) raqib doesn't have the time and is useless if he bats lower than 4 so he's up top.
4) naeem is good but not proven thus he shouldn't open or bat at 3 but he should be top 4 therefore he bats at 4.
5) ash and junaid are good hitters but are too unreliable to bat top 4, ash still comes in at 6 in case he's having a good day, and whilst lower order hitting is important junaid can take the #7 spot because if he can get a couple of good hits he will have done his job even if he isn't there for long.
6) mushy just doesn't cut it in the top 4 in limited overs cricket and he's not a big enough hitter to come in ahead of sloggers like mash.
7) riyad is inbetween everyone, he's reliable but not the biggest hitter so #5 is a good spot for him.
8) this line-up means our most reliable are spaced out (shakib 3, riyad 5), potentially one of our most reliable is batting at 4 (naeem), we have a big hitter opening (tamim), we have a guy who can rotate the strike and stick around opening (raqibul) and we have our late hitters in the 6-9 spots (ash, junaid, mash).

Rakib should not be batted at all unless we have lost 5 wickets in 10 overs...any other situation warrants him to not come in at all...
His role - IMO - on the team is to stabilise a collapsing batting order...no collapse = no need for Rakib
Mushfiq on his day can be a big hitter...mithun unfortunately is not proven and although we are complaining about mushfiq, mithun did make mistakes in the practice match that he kept.

with this line up, if the opener falls early, we will not be able to make 100 run even. get rid off mushfiq, rokibul and shahadat. thats the solution

actually i agree with u we need some hard hitter in the lower order. if we play mithun, he can easily fit in that role. so is shamsur rahman, he is a hard hitter, though he didnt get any run in the warm up. i think we didnt use him properly. so in my opinion, rokib and mushfiq is mis fit for this kind of format. i think we should give this two a try. then we dont have to break our opening partnership. zunaed and tamim looks comfy as an opening partner. i think nayeem/ shuvo can bat as one down. ashraful should bat after sakib. i think number 5 is best place for ashraful. honestly, i think, there is no place for mushfiq and rokibul in 20/20.
