It may be too early to make a comment about Sajid, but I won't be surprised if Nazmul ends up with better figures than him at the end of the tour. After all, Nazmul's been around for a while now and Sajid's simply too inexperienced.

Rasel will be sadly missed in this series, He had the capability of disturbing the batsmen, also a very inteligent bowler. Hope he recovers for the SA series.

You batting card is also a viable option. I have said that Aftab is probably the only player who can play both no.3 and no.6 positions. So, Yes, that is an option provided Junaid drops down to no.3. We do need a batsman who can take advantage of the power plays. I think he can. No problem with Mushy opening either. I see no reason to keep him at no.7. You batting card is well thought off and does indeed distribute the power evenly.

i think Bd should open with Junaed and Tamim, both of them got a decent outing. Besides sending them to open rather than someone defensive (i.e. Mushfiq) sends out an aggressive message to the opposition. More often than not this aggresive intent works.

I agree with Beamer, Bd needs some firepower down the order and Ash should be the right man at no.5, Sakib can be 4 and his type of batsman is probably suitable for 4. No. 6 is really open, farhad, mehrab or who? If Bd had a collapse, I think Mushfiq should be sent in there at 6, then farhad 7, mashrafi 8. If bd needs quick runs probably Mashrafi 6, Farhad 7, Mushfiq 8. About mehrab, if he cant do the big hits, he shouldnt play.

This is the final playing XI. The only change would occur with Mehrab/Nazmil in place of Farhad if the latter fails. Other than that,, really there arent any other combinations available as Tusher/Rasel is out.

Therer has to be atleast 3 batsman who needs to score to their potential... if one of them is Ashraful, we won the game already,, we know that, so does NZ

"Hair triggers", "daddy", what are you talking about man? The reason I cited the South Africa game was because I was pointing out that BD did well there too. The fact that you were talking about Mashraf's performance rather than BD's, was not clear, probably due to the fact that you fail to articulate yourself well.

My point about his fitness (which is something YOU raised b4 ONE other Banglacricket member supported your comments) is that a number of international players have been badly treated due to speculation about their fitness. Guys like Freddie, Shoaib and Munaf patel have all had their fitness questioned in the past and their performances suffered as a result. I'd hate for the same to happen to a valuable player like Mashrafe.

As for treating others well, read my other posts I always do. It's you who has decided to go "of on one" in response to a mere one line post by me that was neither inaccurate nor offensive. It is you who have used derogatory terms like "ignorant" etc, not I. So yourself out man....

I've re-read your original post and must apologise. I obviously misunderstood your post about the India game. I've also read some of your recent posts, you are often insulting to other members (describing Bengalis (aren't you one?) as "fickle and emotional"), how unpleasant ........
