Also pace doesn't matter as much in the subcontinent unless your express. So Nazmul in BD conditions would prove handy I believe.

Agreed...Shafiul's pace is useless because he doesn't have control over his bowling...the basic of fast bowling is line and length, that's number one..if you spray it all over, you are bound to go for two boundaries per over..

Medium Pacer with accurate line and length is very much handy/useful than bowlers with little more pace but with no control whatsoever...

Agreed. Line and length is more important then having an extra bit of pace.

I aways wanted Nazmul to be in the team, I just hope he doesn't throw away when he do get a chance.

Ok Nazmul Hossain.. here is his bowling statistics
Test average: 38.80
ODI average: 32.95
First Class: 29.54
List A: 31.70
Nothing spectacular as I see it. Many of our bowlers have done superb here and there, but never consistent. Our pace bowling department is doing poorly so far, that includes Nazmul, Shafiul, Rubel, shahadat and others. I really don't think the team management is being biased against him; I personally don't see why he should be included or excluded. He needs to do way better before I can personally say it is ridicule to ignore him. Honestly, we need a major shake up in our pace bowling department.

BDFlag good

I am agree with you guys, our selector can Resign for theyer own son or nephew but they can easily ignore the best bowler( REFERRED BY IAN PONT) at this Time, becoze nazmul dosent have chacha or mamu in the selection panel neither has a relative who is at the national parliament, so who cares, everything is possible in BANGLADESH, if any of you wana call BASHAR n ask him why they keep ignoring NAZ I might be able to prvide his number

I don't understand why Nazmul is being hailed as the messiah of Bangladesh pace bowling. Just because Señor Pont says so? As Catskills pointed out earlier, Nazmul's stats aren't extraordinary by any stretch of the imagination, so why all the hoopla? If he truly is that good, I don't think the team management, including the coache(es), the captain, vice captain and ex-captain would ignore him unfairly.

this guy has done almost everytime he has been handed the ball

when was the last time shafiul balled well? Thinking about it, when has he bowled well? His 6.0 + eco rate shows what a class act he is

The most underrated cricketer of Bangladesh.

He bowls with brain and plays with heart.

i've seen nazmul bowl well and take wickets without going for many runs against good solid teams but i've also seen him get hit badly. shafiul is no superstar so i don't think there is a harm in giving nazmul a shot, he does have a decent one-day average (could be better but it's still ok). only thing is are mash and nazmul too similar bowlers to have in the one team? from what i've seen nazmul bowls pretty similar to mash just mash is a bit more consistent and slightly more higher quality.

btw even though BD don't have the greatest or most effective pacer squad atm it's the best it's been. mash, nazmul and rubel average 31/32 in one-dayers, shafiul 36.

We dont need a player as crap as his caliber

PLZ PLAY NAZMUL, why is there so much gong in the brains of Law, jurgesen...etc
