Ash is very unpredictable, he can do quick runs and get quick out. We needs him in opening position and I think Dev is going to do that.

yes ibrahim bhai i agree with you. i dont understand why this people even after seeing all this practice matches are thinking that ash is going to bat in number 5. ash is actually pretty settled with golla. and i think he is going to be opening.

ash opening means wasting a good batsman... he always gets out when he opens

i think Chacha should open the bowling with Taposh cos the sa openers gibbs and smith prefer the ball coming on to the bat whereas Chacha could frustrate them with his pace which could lead to a fall of wickets hopefully. To stand a realistic chance of winning we need to remove gibbs and smith as early as possible or else they can take the game away from us in the first 15 overs.

Now the 12-man list has been announced, where both Faisal and Tareq are absent.

I like the list by bourny3, only with one interchange between #2 and #3.

It will be interesting to see, who will be dropped, Nazmul or Rana. Inclusion of Rana can help the batting line (which may be more important to our think-tank) and will be a good support to Rafiq, although Ash and Rajin can support as well. Whereas, inclusion of Nazmul will enrich the pace attack, as he is a genuine pacer.

thats a hard choice to make. only thing goes FOR rana, those pitches can be spin friendly. but he'd been batting terribly for few matches, even though he is my favorite player in the team (2nd to ash).

and nazmul failed to impress me in practice matches. since we'll have sujon-mushfique-tapash pace attack, there is not much point of getting a fourth, when he is yet to prove himself. i'd rather go with rana just for his bowling than nazmul specially for this match because SA are more prone to spin than pace.
