Shakib should be in the all-rounders section. Mahmudullah is pure faltu.

imrul, naeem, robin, rubel hossain, shuvo, subashis roy, nasir hossain, marshall ayub, shamsur......i realise a lot of these guys aren't ready but i think robin and rubel hossain can do a decent job filling in and i'm not sure if imrul or naeem would be much worse than anyone else atm and shuvo is probably high on the spinners list atm because all we really have are razzak, enamul (who himself is out of sorts with the BCB) and shakib.

Looking at the roster up there, the players we absolutely can not afford to lose are ... TI, Masri, Razzak, Mushfiq, and Ash (unfortunately - I am a sucker for the Eid er chand). Would not like the rest to leave either but atleast they can be replaced based on current form.

i think we have a great bunch of fine young cricketers in the pipeline! today for BD cricket i am hopeful and excited as ever, it doesn't matter what a few ignorant journalists say or think, i know where our boys are! i am very hopeful about our robin, marshall, shuvo, shamsur, nayeem, zia, and rubel! i pray for rubel so he heals quick and well!

This Depth Chart will soon be death chart for Fans as more rebels will be recruited from this chart.
I am suspecting that Bangladesh National team will be used as their virtual minor league team to train (and gain experience) for their possible future recruits.

apparently there were issues between him and the BCB when he went and played in england, they may have been resolved but if they have i haven't heard about it.

gotta add rajib to that list.
his test bowling through 4 matches in 2008 is astounding...if he played for any other country, he'd be near the top of ICC annual awards list instead of being ignored completely - which he will.
17 wickets at an average of 21 or so from just 5 innings is stellar stuff at a strike rate that would make shane bond and dale steyn nut in their pants.

I agree..but with his complte inability to learn to bowl in the ODIs is threatning to ruin his career all together. If we played more tests that would help him develop.

Lack of depth? What?
1. Tamim Iqbal
2. Nafees Iqbal
3. Raquibul Hasan
4. Mohammad Ashraful
5. Shakib Al Hasan
6. Mushfiqur Rahim
7. Mahmud Ullah Riyad
8. Mashrafe Bin Mortaza
9. Abdur Razzak
10. Dollar Mahmud
11. Syed Rasel
12. Shahadat Hossain
And this list is based off of the players who have already appeared in one or more International matches and are right out their ready to be called upon when needed. Need there be any mention of the Academy players who are excelling as well? There is enough depth already to cover any problems. Its just a matter of proper application of the skills learned and vested.
