Default England hammer Australia

Great stuff.

We win by 9 wickets, we bowled a bit crap to be honest, a lot of wides, but we took the Aussie attack apart.

Trescothick finally making a hundred against Australia, his 22nd for Englan overall

And Vaughan pulled a finger out at last.

As Tony Blair said, life must go on. To have the country fall to a stand still is exactly what the terrorists wanted, we can't let them succeed.

The events in the cricket were a welcome distraction from the trauma, and the result will of cheered quite a few people up, to an extent anyway.

That is so true.....

Anyways congrats for England for playing so well... Looks like the purpose of substitutions did not show up as it was a one sided match not a close livened up one.
