Default Bangladesh can beat Pakistan

If Inzamam, Yousuf Youhana, Younis Khan do not play of course. We have a chance to beat them in test cricket.

True.

Also if Sehwag, Dravid, Tendulkar, Pathan & Kumble does not play and Harbhajan is suspended for throwing, we may beat India also.

Now comming to England series:
If Vaughan, Flintoff, Harmison, Strauss, Thorpe, Trescothick, Pietersen doesn't play we may squeeze some win there also.

If none of the above 14 year old Brazilian Men play we can beat Brazil in soccer.

If none of the above 12 year old US Men and above 15 US women play our men can beat USA in basketball.

If none of the above 5 year old Koreans play we can beat Korea in Tae-kwon-do.

NOt true, your analysis isn't true. Pakistan like bangladesh contain new players. They are mostly young too. They are new to the world class cricket arena. So if world class players that I have mentioned are made to sit, it will almost be equal strenght team. India and England no way are like that. They are much mature and experienced team.

But if you remove 6 players from current Indian team and 7 players from current England team (as I mentioned), they will no longer be mature and experienced team anymore.

The word IF so strong (and far from reality), that you can validate almost anything if you add 'IF' in your logic.

Actually, if in each innings, 2 bd batsmen scores century and 3 other scores half century, plus one bowler gets 5 wicket and another 3, we will probably beat Pakistan.

itz a 50-50 chance...bd can win it if they really play for a win.

didn't we almost won a test match last time we met them in Pak. It was inzy who saved them...how come you forget so soon.

Man, which BD have you been following? Two centuries and three fifties in each innings?! Hehe, I'd be happy if two BD batsmen score centuries and three score half centuries in a three match series!

I agree with Fazal, with such wishful IFs, almost anything can be validated.

Guys,,,stop getting carried away, so what if we almost won against Pakistan and Inzamam saved them? That doesnt mean we r good to beat them without Inzi and Youhana. Its a baseless argument. We also won an ODI against India recently, does that mean we r good to beat them in ODIs regularly? Its such a narrowly focussed and biased point of view!

OK (Ofcourse no logic allowed here)

Bangladesh can beat the combination of India and Pakistan if the following happens:
--------------------------------
Uronto Pakhi: Inzamam, Yousuf Youhana, Younis Khan do not play

Fazal: if Sehwag, Dravid, Tendulkar, Pathan & Kumble does not play and Harbhajan is suspended for throwing.
----------------------------------
And Bangladesh can beat Enland, Paki & India combined if the following also happens:

Fazal: If Vaughan, Flintoff, Harmison, Strauss, Thorpe, Trescothick, Pietersen doesn't play

I know what you are thinking Fazal. Who do we need to leave out to beat the rest of the world.

Diba shopno bad den to bhaijanera..

Pakistan has some accomplished players.. Whom do we have, except Rafiq and Sumon? Only test team that cna be compared at this moment is ZIM with us, none else..

I think we are hoping and expecting too much.. I am sure, if we play with PAK now, they will beat us comfortably.. Remember, Yaseer Hamid was a oyung guy, with no test expereince before he played Bangladesh. And what did he do?

Be reasonable and pragmatic guys, when we write something...

That was when Pakistan was in rebuilding stage...

Seriously... Bangladesh is improving... would still be outclassed though. When's the next time Pakistan and Bangladesh face each other?

And here's my "what if" dream...

If McGrath, Gilchrist and Langer weren't playing... Pakistan could beat Australia in tests.

That is a loser way of thinking IMO.

If you can put them under pressure, Pakistan can always find a way to beat themselves.

Look at the St Johns Test in the Carribean for the script - all the batsmen get some runs, you put 400-ish on the board, then you put them under pressure from tight, accurate bowling.

Rafique's a world-class slow left armer, and then there's The Kid ... fast bowling's not too bad with Masrafee and Baiysa (did I ever tell you about when Colin Miller opened the bowling for Australia ?).

Basically, if everyone does their job, then Bangladesh can win.

Get to 10. Then get to 20. Then get 40. Then 50, then go on and make a hundred. Then make it a big hundred.

Make sure you have a plan, and bowl to it. Line and length, move it away, drift it in.

Take catches, back up behind the stumps, throw accurately and fast.

And never, ever give up.

Basically, all of BD players are lack of those.
