Arrow GLOBAL SIMULATION Tournament- Version I

Hello there guys, I have a cricket management game, ICC 17, and would like to run a simulation tournament here in Banglacricket Forum.
I would like this initial edition to feature players who have played an international match in this century (Which most of our BC members are familiar with).
The database consists of 6500 players, so we have a good deal to choose from.

So there are 10 teams up for grabs:

Australia
India
Pakistan
Sri Lanka
Bangladesh
England
New Zealand
South Africa
West Indies
Zimbabwe

If you are interested, post which team you would like to manage. Squads are of 12 players which you have to choose (where your cricket knowledge comes into play ). Squads are up for grabs on a first come, first choose basis. Since this is a 2017 game, players who debuted after 2016 might not be in the database.

FORMAT:
50 OVERS- ODIS
Round robin; 9 rounds; net run rate will be in play
Top 4 finishers get to play each other in the semis- 1st seed plays 4th seed; 2nd seed plays 3rd seed... and the grand finale

POINTS:
4 points for a win; bonus point: 1; tied game is 2 points

In order to get a bonus point, your team's net run rate has to be at least 1.5x greater than the opponent's in the match

Let's get cracking!

Mods: if this is not the right sub-forum for this thread, you can move it to the other one. I only included it here because this is the most traffic area of the forum.

Australia.

For the other simulation members: Give me a walkover when you face me. That would save the humiliation.
For Aklemalp: Where is my trophy?

For the game: Is there a toss? Who chooses to bat first?

Everything gets simulation...all you have to do is post your lineup, the game takes care of the rest

There are some wonderful players still up for grabs...even though you haven't provided a lineup. Sri Lanka is a strong team...Pakistan also.

Come on boys and girls, join,

It is a very difficult task to come up with a best 11 when Michael Clark (B), Steve Smith (B), Steve Waugh (AR), Michael Johnson (BW) can't make it to the 11.

Steve Waugh is my 12th man.

We are gonna be playing a global tournament featuring the top 10 teams- kinda like the World Cup next year.

You pick 12 players from the country you choose to 'manage'. For them to be eligible, they just have to play international cricket in this century.

Round Robin tournament...top four teams advance to the finals
