Burda sharif
This blessed poem is renowned all over the Muslim worlds and takes the regional flavour in the style of recitation. Its been extremely popular in the subcontinent for centuries and have inspired many devout muslim poets to pen their own verses in the honour of the blessed prophet Muhammad [peace be upon him]. Although, the subcontinental version of the Burda is very beautiful- I, personally, prefer the north African/Arabic mode of recitation.

I have never heard this and frankly speaking, with all due respect, I would like to say that poems written in a language that general people do not understand can not touch their heart that much... if I can take religious part away, then this is indeed very monotonous music ( or poem). No offence, this is just my personal feeling. I still appreciate your attempt.

even though I do not understand a bit of it, the tempo, melody seems interesting , close to hip-hop or vangra.... cool

What kana-baba, perhaps, could do with is a pair of spiritual glasses to internalize the simplicity and yet the profound spiritual significance of literary works like Burda Shareef. In fact, not just kana-baba, we all -and I first and foremost- need to obtain these glasses to see through with some clarity in this increasingly spiritual dark age.
If one is looking for the beat of bhangra or trip-hop or the noise of black metal for that matter then there are other avenues!
Nonetheless, appreciate the feedback.

It got to be you Fazal. You clever fox.
Obviously, there are shayateen (little devils) on this board -the Big One being chained up in this month- who are tormented by this kind of stuff...it burns them. Well, the torment they are inflicted with in this life is nothing compared to what awaits them in the hereafter...Allah! Allah!
But, if they repent sincerely they will find their Lord to be most Merciful.
