BTW - the tour section is new code; I wrote our semi-automated CMS for this until we make the big move. Things might be buggy so if you are moving along there and come across an open manhole, do let us know.

I think they should drop Shakib if these matches are just practice matches. So Shak can play T20 in England if he get good deal from county team.

Nah i think they should play shak. I see your point but this series is only a few days, and against one very strong opposition and one equally as good opposition as us. That's good mathc practice bro. Personally, i think its better than playing county. In county he will get maybe one/ two games in 5 days, in this series he will play like 4 games in 5 days. More match practice.

It's not official probably because SA wants to try out their entire squad. So most likely there will be 2 extra players on the game. So they can substitue players and try out other batsmans and bowlers. They did this in warm up games before world cup 2007. I remember when we beat NZ in 2007 in a warm up game, there was 13 players on the playing squad.

Wait, why wouldn't these matches be official T20I matches?

Several reasons I think:

- Cost. One does not need all the paraphernalia and cameras etc for an official T20I
- Allows more flexibility in team selection - the goal is preparing for the World T20 and so they might want to have 13 men teams.

But if this series is broadcasted on tv, then the broadcaster has to bear the cost anyway including commies.

Rather i think, Zim board could have earned $$$ from sponsors and media partners if it was official series.
