Yeap!
2 player. Ash to Mumbai. But only for his base price (75K)

What a bid that was. 50 to 600K. 10 K each time..

Now, shakib's best bet is to play IPL as a replacement player... he can still get a price higher than his base price.

In the end though, it was Mortaza's purchase, after a bidding war between Kolkata and Punjab, which sparked a buzz in the auction room. The bidding, initially in segments of US$ 10,000 each, lasted nearly half-an-hour before Punjab threw up their hands. "It makes great sense for Kolkata," Modi said. "Bangladesh falls under the Kolkata's catchment area as per a new proposal we are discussing on letting franchises stage matches overseas. This could work well for KKR later."

Mashrafes bidding was also the longest in IPL Auction history, and also the largest jump from base price, previously it was Ishant Sharma's and now Mashrafes which went up from 50k to 600k, amazing stuff

What a negative thought, Even if he thinks of it, he is finished. Rathar a player need to take incentives & feel more secured to perform even better in future.

Great to hear Mash making a such a frenzy at the IPL auction.
Our Golden boy deserves it, more than anybody else.

Happy for Ash, even though he probably deserves a little better, may be around 100K mark, but atleast he is playing.

Too bad Sakib misses out, but its not all over for him yet i guess.

In retro, this is Karma, justice well done.
I would not have liked if anyone, let is be Ash,Sakib or Tamim, had gotten better price than Mash.
His earning is the result of a long hard work over many many years where he have been a constant performer for Bangladesh. 6-7 years he worked for this 600K tag.

No offense to Sakib, he is one of our finest cricketers right now, but his rise has been only in last 6 months and though he is at the top of the world right now, getting more money for 6 months work than a guy who has been working really hard for 6 years is not justified.

I'm not bringing comparison of other country players, only comparing Bangladeshi players.

So, really happy for Mash.
Ok for Ash.
Really sad for Sakib.( He should have got a team with around atleast 150K price tag)
No feeling for Tamim.

Tamim only has himself to blame for not being picked. You actually need to run properly in order to impress any of these teams :P

Im actually quite happy for Ashraful, I hope this is a boost for him and he can regain his (LOST) confidence of his own batting ability. Also obviously, Mashrafe, couldnt be happier! 600k wow! he's made the headlines all over India!
