2 gully and 2 short cover, seems like NZ figured out Mominul's scoring areas.

His last 4 was uppish. It could have easily gone to the square leg fielder.

I believe the longer you bat you will see the ball better and will have a higher chance of executing your shots and so if you eliminate risks early in your innings you can give yourself a better chance of building a score. Good batsman can play a range of shots but they decide to play straight and in the V early in their innings.

Must be GREAT to be you, then. I wonder what kind of psyche results in such cognitive dissonance! This was my original response to your asinine post. The response clarified what "playing a ball according to its merit" means, not according to me, but what it actually means for a game with normative concepts. Here it is again, but I'm sure you're itching to have the last, pointless word in a sad and juvenile attempt to redefine those norms.
I'm outta here. Whining, clueless posters like you make BC deeply annoying cricket forum nowadays.

The RR is less in tests because unlike the shorter formats, there are no restrictions tilting the game in the batsmen's favor, and that -- not some poorly formulated, archaic, ignorant and sissy idea -- is the reason why very few batters score quickly in tests.

TI's tuk-tuk better be worth it in the end if he goes on to score big, because rarely does his tuk-tuk get him anywhere!

What is with you getting angry and upset and whining about leaving the forum everytime? At the end of the day i have an opinion and you have yours. You don't need to subscribe to my theory of Test cricket... i watch and love the game the way i see it and i express it here in the forum. We have a different view point. I don't need your approval stamp on my theories and I am certainly not gonna bow down and beg for your forgiveness because you don't agree. Jeez... just ignore my comments and follow the game

I took our bowling into consideration. There was a danger of letting their tail get to 500.
Ideally, I would have liked to have seen Marshall still in the crease.

Bangladesh should just set up shop. And try to achieve the herculean task of batting out another 4 sessions. The two remaining today and the first two sessions tomorrow.

I think batting 3 more sessions would be great. I am being optimistic though. Shaking and NASA need to step us because they have not done much in this series so far

The freaking match timing is making me mad. No game is on weekends. Moreover they have put the T20 match at 1-30 pm on next wednesday, is it correct? Anyone?
