cricinfo wrote "The hungrier side was always going to come up tops and Ireland took a massive stride by keeping a reckless Bangladesh to 137. Bangladesh batted with the freedom of a team that believed they were already in the next stage and paid the price, stumbling after a shaky start." - r u kidding me?

If Ashraful has any concern about Bd cricket, he will on the least consider his capability as a captain and at most, step down.

dude do you know what ppl would think if we handed Shahriar captaincy???? Yes I agree that he has the all the credentials to be captain but the problem lies with the fact that he quit BD cricket to join ICL. plus he hasn't played international cricket in forever so he would probably not even perform. If he was captain, people would bash him even more than they do Ash. Yes ash is an idiot and yes he has played terribly, but he has remained loyal unlike Shahriar...
Do you really want someone to be your captain if they really don't give a **** about the team and just want more money?

hahahahahahahaha, i knew that and said one of my replies that day against India. Ireland would be far better team than they were in WI. this is almost their home ground. for this reason i didn't come to BC. i was so afraid to be here. even i couldn't dare to watch the half of the match, hoping that some miracle would happen if i wouldn't in front of the TV.
btw Bangladesh, The worst cricket nation world has ever produced. I feel like dig a hole and sit inside it to save me from this kinda stupid cricekt of BD. Thanks to Mash that he scored 20 runs in the last over. But it will not take us anywhere. we are gonna lost and gone. Think tank did think like a Gazi Tank and played Roqibul & Mushfiq again. see that how come a wk can change the match???, Irish wk pull a wicket from nowhere.anywayz it's really hard to follow BD cricket as it puts much more pressure than worrying for my own living.
this what i thought to post in the innings break. but tried to believe in some supernatural thing that if i don't come here that may be prevent the losing.whatever BD player der jemon lojja nei, amader(BD supporter) o kono lojja nei je emon performance sojjo kori.
Mark my words, this Ireland is already looking good and they will be one of the top 6 teams in next 3-5 years. while we are playing international cricket for 12 years and reached nowhere except producing some fluke players. May be Sakib is the difference but the way he batter in this 2 matches that put some questions as well. now i am not ashamed or false to say that match against Ind in the WC 2007 was the biggest upset ever in the history of WC. guys admit it please. how long we are gonna back these stupid no good cricketers who make issues that they are young and not experienced. just tell me that guys after playing 5-8 years in a team if someone doesn't get experience then how good he is?? anywayz i know lots of bashing gonna come towards me as well now from some of you guys. but believe me i am a crazier fan of BD than most of guys here. but there is a limit you know guys. anywayz cheers for me to be an anti-BD now!!!!!! hope that China was my cricket team. damn

really doesnt matter if someone doesnt give a **** about the team or wants more money if they can churn out wins for the team, i mean if the captain can help you win, give him more money
Andrew symonds for example-does'nt care about the team but makes it win

Sakib should be the future captain, when he becomes a "senior" player. Unfortunately, being a senior player in the Bd team implies " I've sucked longer than you, so I'm a senior." Sakib hasn't done all that bad for too long yet.

but what tells you that he can help us win??? He's a minnow basher and thats it. Plus he hasn't played international cricket in forever. He would perform worse than ashraful.
