If our batsmen be a little responsible then we can easily cross 250.

On the HIGH side - 250
Low : 110 after the order succumbs to 15/5.

potetially we can win the match yet...bowl India out for 360...that gives them a lead of 178...at best our batsmen can put up 350...then let masri, tapash, and rafique take care of buisiness...
odds: 300-1

250 seems about the best I expect. One of the things to keep in mind is, Bangaldesh has still not seen what Kumble and Bhajji can do. When the seamers fail(which they do every once a while), these two make sure to do well and tie down the opponents. Our seamers aren't greatshakes anyway. So it is up to the BD top order to do well. There is another aspect. The huge lead India has taken would put the Bangladesh bats under a lot of pressure.

Hmm. I like the way these two Indian dudes are posting: DJ Shahastra and lately, the newcomer Ganesh. Very astute, grounded observations. Constructive posts. Nice.

Au contraire. Here are my predictions:
1) BD will nip the India tail in about 20 runs or so runs.
2) BD will post a record breaking 300+ 2nd innings total

Hopefully, BD will to do better performance in the 2nd innings, because batsmen are getting encouragement from bowlers.
I hope 280 to 320 runs in the 2nd innings

That my friend never happens... bowling doesnt get encouragement from the batting and batting doesnt get encouragement from bowling... thats the sad story of bangladesh cricket...
But i am hoping for a better batting in the 2nd innings... maybe a 300. I just hope india has to come out to bat again.

It's too risky to comment or predict on BD score lately.
To save our face, they should score around 300.

Thank you Arnab.
This game for BD may well be a lost cause. But Bangladesh should still try and play as long as they can. If not they will carry a psychological baggage for the next game. So put up a decent fight guys. Realistically, I expect another 180-200 score. But, if Bangladesh can push past 250 or even 300, they can take heart from their showing. They can lookback and say but for the lapses on the field and first hour poor batting in I1, they did well enough to make India sweat and that if they cut the lapses down in t2, who knows what could happen. If not, they won't be spirited enough to fight the next game. There is no bigger pain than losing to your neighbor badly in sports and there is no greater pleasure than beating them. That being said, BD being a neighbor I would like to see them grow as a test team(even if I want India to beat them every single time)
Good luck to BD on Day 3. Don't hand it over on a silver platter.

I am worried about how the batsmen will face Irfan. Hope they have some strategy to face his swingers. hope they try to concentrate on everyball they face like Ash did the other day. his eyes were on the ball most of the day. tried to focus very hard on every delivery.

The winners are SS and Rafique. Their prediction 220 is the closest to the true 202.
