I don't know anything about any promises the British government failed to honour but I see no reason why we should offer them any tax incentives or subsidised office space. Christ knows what Switzerland are prepared to do that for.

I think a break with the old MCC is a good thing in itself too.

Good... I think a move to Dubai would be a great idea, they are building a new cricket stadium there as well.. much better then the Sharjah one. It would be closer to South Asia, and ICC depends on South Asia.
