Interesting to see how Kohli develops, and how far he gets to Tendulkar's record.
Tendulkar played under more difficult circumstances, and against much better quality bowling.

India.....hope zim puts up a fight though. thing is if zim were able to get all the eligible players to play then they'd be decently competitive. guys like balance, ervine even murray goodwin.

From India's side, i'd like to see Mohit Sharma get picked ahead of Vinay Kumar today. Since the whole idea of this series is to try out the young reserves, ideally every new player should get at least 2-3 games.

Strange decision to promote Raina ahead of Karthik at that time of the innings. Dhawan made the most of his good fortune and played a fine innings.
15 wides and 8 no balls from ZIM. That's like bowling 4 overs more, not to mention the extra runs.

dhawan is quickly building a great reputation, if he can keep it up he's going to be a long term member of this indian team along with kholi.

I guess the Test series whitewash in England and then the Test series loss to England at home in India will be quickly forgotten with all the ODI successes.

^^ I don't understand what that has to do with the current series, or anything for that matter. So every time the players win a match they should be reminded not to be happy about that coz their previous generation lost a series back in 2011? Professional cricketers, (and the supporters) tend to move on, and while they do learn from their past mistakes, what really matters to them is how they'll perform in the coming matches.

You can ignore my comment. I was reacting to this article where Chandu Borde is saying currently India could play against India because of how strong they are...

I read that article. Although it sounded slightly arrogant but he does have a point about the abundance of talent, at least on the batting front.

Damn, didn't notice the massive margin between first and second lol. H.Amla has a good chance of breaking that record himself, he is 3-4 centuries behind Kohli, with 30 or so matches to break it.
