I guess that's the glass half full approach. The half empty would be "this is why none of our batsmen goes into playing big innning in test or even becomes a good test batsman".
I know that it's a team sport and everyone should chip in but you always need someone to hold one end and play a long inning even if the rr is not up there.

BCB nabs fraud pushing for Under-19 selection
Quote:
The Bangladesh Cricket Board on Monday caught a fraud, who tried to use a false recommendation letter signed by late chief executive officer Manzur Ahmed to push for his selection in the national Under-19 team.
Yousuf Parvez, who claimed to be a student of Dhaka’s Trauma Medical Centre, submitted a recommendation letter, which had Manzur’s signature, to chief selector Akram Khan to consider him for selection.
The letter, written on a false BCB pad, mentioned Manzur as recommending that Parvez had made 236 runs in a recent 50-over match and should be considered for the national Under-19 side.
The BCB employees immediately realised the letter was false and handed Parvez over to security personnel.
Pavez initially denied the charge of fraudulence and claimed Manzur, who died of cardiac arrest on January 10, had indeed made the recommendation.
He claimed that Manzur was so impressed with his performance that he even gave him a cash incentive of Tk 2,000 at the time.
However, after repeated questions from the BCB employees, he confessed that he had prepared the false recommendation letter.
He stated that he downloaded the BCB logo from the website and made a letterhead before copying the signature of Manzur.
Police were called in but instead of handing him over to them the BCB employees released him after he promised not to repeat the act. They, however, confiscated his identity card.
The acting CEO of the BCB, Nizamuddin Chowdhury, said Parvez appeared to be mentally sick so they decided not to hand him over to the police.
The offender was reminded that if he repeats the act then he may not get away again.

Typical Bangladeshi way of resolving matters - take law into one's own hands and then:
A: "Ei tor ID card koi? ID card ase naki nai?"
B: "Je saar, je saar"
A: "Ei tore pulish e dibo kintu koilam, ID card dekha!"
B: "Je saar, ei je ID card"
A: "Oi beta chorer baccha, aar korbi? Aar korbi naki kau!"
C: "Bhai poladar mone hoy matha kharap, rastar pagol, chaira den"
Police: "Ei saar er paa dhoira maaf cha, naile jail er bhaat khawamu koilam!"
B: "Saar paa dhortasi, amare chaira den, jaane mairen na, ei kaan dhorlam, uthlam, boshlam"
A: "Ei tor ID card de"
No concept of letting the law enforcement take care of things. And what's with this ID card/license priti?
