I have really high hopes for Abu Hider. Terrific action, Starc type trajectory. Somehow needs to work up his pace to 140 ish from current 130

Shak has always sucked at domestic cricket. What you call lack of intelligence, I call lack of experience. We should totally put up a program for Abul to work at. You guys don't get it - a guy who can bowl 140+ and HAS a Test century is not that common. India hasn't had one since Kapil! Pakistan since Akram, NZ like never. For us to be a good Test side we NEED Abul to work. And of course all y'all know so much more about pace bowling than Aaqiv Javed.

If Taskin and Fizz cannot make it to the next test then we should draft in Abul Hasan and Abu Hider(Abu Hider has the skill set to potentially succeed in longer format). Mohammad Shahid is ok but i just don't see him taking any fifer any time soon. he has discipline and consistency but he lacks the venom to trouble most international batsmen(I have never seen Shahid bowl yorkers yet)

From the picture I saw of Ebadat Hossain, he seemed strongly built unlike Shafiul...
Pictures can be decieving.. Aaqib seems to think that that ebadat needs to build muscle..

Would have loved if Aaqib worked with Saifuddin... Because they both have very similar action (as rightly pointed out by Ian Bishop during U19 World cup).

This debate has gone on long enough. I really want to see what he can do at this point. I hope he plays vs England.

Numbers dont lie. International cricket is not easy - throwing the ball fast(ish-140k) is simply just not good enough to take wickets. Simple as that! He needs to consistently perform in local arena before bringing him back to international team.

Good for Bangladeshi cricket though if they can mould him into a consistent performer.

We badly need a pace bowling all rounder, and by that not a Forhad Reza or Mushfiqur Rahman.

Still fingers crossed this guy could be a candidate for that role.

Abul is in the gone list in my book, last time I saw him in BPL was the worst of him, nothing convincing at all, so called his PACE included. Few session of work with HP program wont do any jack all of a sudden, wish to be proven dead wrong for that matter.

Seems like Aaqib was trying to impart a lot of specific technical knowledge to the bowlers.
