Default I met our girls but...

When I was flying to Bd from London Gatwick on 20th November, I saw some girls with BD flag and BCB logo on their training jackets.

I don't follow our women's team and didn't know who they were. So, I asked one : Apnara ki Under 17 ba Under 19 teamer ?

She replied to me : Na, amra national team.

Doh!!!

My wife recognized them and went and took selfies with some.

They were transiting through Gatwick from WI on way to BD. They didn't get on my Qatar airways flight. So, most likely they flew with Turkiye airlines.

BCB prefers to spend money on our men's team - who are flown on Business class all the time.
The pay for our women's team is also significantly lower.

they should fly the women team on business class as a matter of principal. It's not what they bring but a matter of national pride.

They did similar thing in tennis where men and women pay structure are the same.

I do not like this discrimination.

Payscale difference is not discrimination, it's what value they bring, if they don't generate as much money, they simply shouldn't get paid as much

God this logic is stupid, mens sports bring in more money, its simple economics.

The fact women and men are paid the same in tennis is ridiculous. Since mens tennis gets more views, women get by easily with better sponsorships though, because theyre better marketing.

In Tennis men also on average play more sets in a tournament.

However yes Men’s bd team bring in more money however I don't think the women’s team get anything. There should be some minimum standards

I didn't mention salaries. I mentioned how they are being treated. These women represent Bangladesh and Bangladeshi board. They should have flown first class just like the men team regardless of the cost. That's what I said.

Payscale is a different story here and i agree with adamnsu that a minimum standard should be established.

Not everything should be about money and not everything has to be eat what you kill. BCB can use their budget to pay for some of these things for women even if they don't bring money as their representation is more symbolic to me than anything else.

Two news i remember that came out involving Tamim.
1. He was bi*&*&* about not flown business class once
2. He got a bat for captain of BD women team when she didn't have one.

If you put this together - it is an embarrassment for BCB. The men team and their support staff all fly business, all of them dine at places like salt bae in UAE tour but they don't have a room or enough bats for women team. This is nothing short of huge embarrassment for BCB. They get away with it because it's Bangladesh and disrespect for women playing sports are accepted.

For anyone who's confused, iDumb is actually talking about Business class when he mentions First class. American airlines usually have economy, premier economy and then First class.
Middle East airlines have economy, business,First and The Residence ( Etihad only ).

No, it's on all A380 aircrafts. Access is only for Business, First class and Residence paasengers.
The Etihad residence class is only available on select flights on select routes and comprises of a mini living room, mini bedroom and a private bathroom ( shower only )
