Mashrafi, bashar and saqib should be rested for next match

well done bangladesh. Winning is always sweet. But our mission in this tournament is select the worldcup 11 probables. so here is my team for next match.
I think mashrafi doesnt have to prove anything in this stage, we just need his fitness. I have an instinct, bangladesh will beat india this time. bashar needs to be rested too, He is an auto choice for the team

lets make our 2nd 1 day team

1. Shahriar nafees (C)
2. Tamim Iqbal
3. Aftab Ahmed
4. Saqib Ul Hasan
5. Tushar Imran
6.Mohammad Ashraful
7. Mushfiq rahim (WK)
8. Mohammad Rafiq
9. Mohammad Sharif
10. Abdur Razzaq
11. Shahadat Hossain

12th man: Mehrab Junior
I think its a good selection. Ashraful and aftab should get chance to bowl. I think aftab got 5 wicket against new zealand and first bangladeshi bowler to get 5 wicket, why he doesnt get chance to bowl. bashar needs to learn how to use all his asset.

what do u guys think? and how can we watch live match

I certainly agree that Sharif should play the remaining 3 matches. I'm very curious to see how he fares, and I'm hoping that he can be a viable option as a third seamer. I'll be disgusted if somehow Tapash ends up in that role ahead of both Sharif and Rasel in the event of injury (or crap selection).

I also hope Tushar Imran gets no where near the first team until he makes a marked improvement to his technique.

the best wld b to contd wid the same team for d next odi..3rd odi tamim n shrif shld be given a chnce coz u neva noe hw much tamim mite make coz mehrab atleast makes 15..or something like that...3rd odi no porbz if we take risk...

I don't totally agree with your team. I think it's not about proving, it's about keeping up constancy. Remember what happened to Bashar when he was in a fine form prior to Zim series last time, and after injury he had two consecutive ducks? I guess Tamim is ok to try out in place Mehrab but definitely not Bashar. And as far as Mashrafe concerned, he should play and grab more wickets! I wanna see him as our Vaas/Pollock. But yes, Rafique may be rested as he can make way for Sharif.

I know we have to give Mehrab his chances - but he is clearly struggling. He might be worth a shout in test matches but not in ODI. So yeh Tamim should be given a go. I dont think we can afford to rest Mashrafe. Bring in Sharif instead of Rafique or Shahdat.

No need to experiment so early. Let's first ensure that we don't lose the series (or win first). Then we can think of experimenting as much as we like.

we need to go for a 4-0 whitewash so i dont support experimenting with a winning lineup. and this is the last real match practice the players will get before the WC so the best team should play. we should stick with mehrab too. even if Tamim gets to play a match or two in this series i dont really see him playing in the world cup. he is too inexperienced and it may be disastrous to throw him into such an important event before he even gets used to playing for the national team.

I dont know about that. I think he should be given a chance in the next match. If he fails, thats alright, we wont use him in the WC, maybe try him out again after the WC is over. If he does do well, try him out again in the third match of the series, if he does well again, try him out for the last. Then, and only then should he be chosen for the WC team. Believe me, that would not be such a hasty thing to do. Mehrab is just failing right and left in the international format, i think ppl are taking Tamims century against scotland too lightly....I actually think the selectors might try this out....But ofcourse, im only guessing. IMO they should try it out. I actually think we know less about Mehrabs true capacity than Tamims, IMO choosing him would be experimentation

honestly, i believe all players should get chance in this tournament. you dont know, who will be injured or not, so we should make our substitute ready. anyway, we have some chain of players now, who is auto choice in this days. like saqib, aftab, nafees,mashrafi, rajjaq. but we should test mushfiq rahim and his batting capability, he should be promoted in batting order and Tushar deserve another chance in 2nd /3rd one day. mashrafi definitely need break in next match. then he should be played in the 3rd match. rafiq needs to be rested too.

if we are afraid to experiment against zim, we should not play int. cricket. i am with wiseshah, we should experiment all our players.

it is better to lose a match against zim and find some talents which we can use in WC than to win 4-0 getting to WC with a false sense of confidence only to get thrashed by Ind and SL.

mash can sit out 2 matches and then play in the 4th...he played great (proving zimbos are not in his head) and we can't afford to get him hurt before WC

saqib should play all matches, tamim should come in for mehrab, but not yet.

sharif and tapash should both get chances by spelling mash and rajib alternately.

At least Merab Jr should be replaced by someone.. god save us. That guy worser than Golla, even Golla was scoring runs fluently, but this guy remind me of turtle. Pls give this kid more time in internal league for a while.

That's a total NO NO.
Always send the best team in. Not try outs - get rid of this habit.
Tamim and sharif should not have got a call to play the series anyway - they didnt do anything extraordinary in local cricket and dont have impressive experience at all.

You can try out tushar imran in a match or 2.

Mehrab is not helping himself right now. Another failure or two and we will definately see Tamim getting a chance or two. Mashrafee should keep playing and can be rested after the series is won. Lets win the series first. No experiment.

Now, im usually all for people who have arguments against tamims inclusion in the team, but that is one I have quite a few problems with.

People who say that the selectors shouldnt experiment at a time like this have a great point.....but this is different
