Mushfiq could have easily been given the role JO played againt NZ...no need to change the strategy...here's what i would have loved to see:
Tamim Mushfiq Aftab Sakib Nafees Ashraful Bashar Reza (8 batsmen!!!) Mashrafe Rafiq Shahadat
I know it's a risk incase Shahadat or Reza can't finish their quota...but we basically have 10 batsmen and with a steady start like monday's..we should be easily able to reach 250. what do u guys think?

After I've typed everything to post the match thread, I was checking has anyone opened it already before me or not and found it's done. So, I failed to utilize the chance to open a match thread. Well done sar2005. Best of luck Tigers

I kinda already lost interest about this game knowing JO will open. I'm thinking about following the game after he gets out when BD bats. Watching him play is so much pain that I can't bear it.

Even i m feeling the same here. JO bats very slow. He doesnt take advantage of the power play conditions. He is a pain in the ***

I think JO was put in the top to slow and stead the young batsman. We need more runs on the board. If you haven't notice, we have been consistently getting out before 50 overs. So, why not put JO there, at least he will get some runs in the process.

Another though. May be he should have replaced Basher, and let Nafee's be the capt.

JO opening, bad weather looming.. worst possible way to start the game..Why not have Rajin open the innings instead of Javed?

I expect Banglaesh to score 155 batting first and SA chasing it in 30 overs with 9 wickets in hand. If we field first, SA will score around 320, we will be allout for 170ish.

And if the weather goes bad and we end up playing 20-20 again. then BD will score 105 and SA will chase that in 14-15 overs. The match is so predictable! Atleast against NZ I had some hope, but this is gonna be plain brutal.

Anyhow, as a BD fan hopefully the players will prove me wrong and I will have to eat my own words
