Thumbs up The Relationship Advice Thread

It is quite evident that many people on BC are in relationships. Relationships aren't always smooth, there are a lot of bumpy roads. BC being a very harmonious community, we can talk advise each other on the do's and dont's of a relationship. This is why i have opened this thread today.

Ladies of BC i think your advice would certainly help a lot of men here on BC and vice versa

Cholo amra shuru kori. Guys and gals take it away

To all dudes in a relationship (non marriage).

Advice 1: Be the BOSS.
Advice 2: Don't spend more than what you can later recover from your future in laws.
Advice 3: Never call your gf. Let her call, and when she calls, tell her how busy you are.

oops, later....have to call my gf, she'd be mighty pissed if I don't.

Most important three words:

1. LOVE
2. love
3. lOvE

> Respect your partner
> Be honest, take responsibility
> Don't expect return favour/s, just do your thing
> Learn to enjoy life/celebrate life
> Go out, build the world together

তারপর তাহারা স্বর্গ-সুখে দিন কাটাইতে লাগিলেন...

Tell whoever friendzoned you that you want to be more than friends with her. And to prevent this from happening in the near future, your first impression has to be right. Let her know first hand that your not here to be friends but your here for more. Good Luck.

She wont freak out. Trust Me. Either she'll reject or not get what your saying. If she doesnt get it, explain it to her. And remember, No means no. Dont ask her twice.

what? this is bad advice. keep on asking till she says yes. dont take no for an answer......

you will know she really means no when she threatens to call the police. till then persistence is the key.....

man if i backed off everytime i heard no, i wouldnt been in jail 12x already but yo it was worth it.

no means u just gotta ask another time.....

So if it doesn't work out then does that mean we are not friends anymore?

Can't give any since I've never been in one. But I can say this though. Don't get oneitis. I've been afflicted twice...fell in love twice and neither girl returned the sentiments. Turned me into the bitter - yet paradoxically optimistic - douchebag of a man that I am today. Even after all that, every time I see a hot girl, I still end up pursuing.

I just tell people I'm in an relationship with Bangladesh cricket. I spend more time staying up at night watching our boys usually lose than most married couples spend banging. Heck I spend more time searching for streaming links than I do searching for...nevermind.

Out before Orphy depresses us even further.

Also, I never understood people whining about their marriages. Maybe cuz I'm not married, but I don't see what all the fuss is about. A, if your spouse is that bad, you're the idiot who married him/her. B, if it blows that bad, it ain't Afghanistan, just cut and run.

Above diatribe does not apply to people who were coerced or tricked into their marriages or women (and men) who are being abused or otherwise effed over.

listen al furqan you have to be married first i guess to understand this. its not so simple. i got married because i fell in love but then i realized i am not the type of guy who likes marriage..... and no matter how despicable your spouse might become, that little unexplanable factor call love is still there - and hence its hard to part.

the two girl that u fell in love with rejected u, they gave u nothing but misery yet you loved them. why?

if you have an abusive parent, they beat u up yet should child services come, u dont want to be separated from ur parents.... these are unexplainable bond of human.... logically doesnt make sense..

my mom used to beat the crap out me when i was young, and still does but there is nothing i woukdnt do for her, cuz i am mamas boy....

so chill yo....

The worst thing about most guys is that we have mental blocks in our head that gets in our way when we try to approach a chick. We think that girls are all special creatures outta this world, when they're humans that eat, sleep, cries, laughs and flirts just like everyone else. If shy guys can get this on their heads than theres nothing to worry about. Just go out there, and have fun.
