wait...
before you guys start your hope on this dude...check this out
Last few ODIs that he played:
Against SL: 5 (19 balls, played in Kulna)
Against England: 51 (87 balls), 12 (20 balls), 27 (35 balls), 4 (15 balls)
***he was dropped due to his poor performance...other u19 players were playing better at that time
**playing in bangladesh domestic league and scoring runs against our bowlers isn't a big deal
*he is too young and too early to say that he is a or will be a good player
But we should keep eye on Anamul Haque, dude has serious hard hitting talent

Well in the first post I mentioned that he got dropped from U-19 team due to poor form.
Scoring two consecutive first class century on debut is no mean feat. He has shown his temperament in the longer version of the game when his team was under pressure. IMO, we are in desperate need of calm heads for longer version game than hard hitting talents.

talha is a solid bowler. sharif is still one of the top 12 pace bowlers in the country. the boy is only 17.
definitely too early to say, but if his technique and temperement are good, than there is no reason why he can't play for the national team 5-6 years down the road.
he may have improved his game from that u19 england tour to now.

thanks for the video MOhammed bhai. That kid anamul is someone to watch out for. He looks like someone who is a special talent. He might be what ashraful promised to be. I hope he grows as a batsman.

Brother and sisters, no one is born superman. He can surely go through a rough patch, score strings of zero's, but scoring back to back centuries in FC, that too in the first two games? How many of our great batsmen have achieved that. Let alone debut, how many BD batsmen have scored back to back centuries in FC?
Also he reminds me of the 16[or 18,19,20] year old Ashraful in SriLanka. :P

too early to say something negative/positive about him. No senior player scored two centuries in current NCL.

I know many of probably don't think he doesn't deserve a place in the team, but he has been consistant. Against Houlabazar, he has scored a whooping 67* off just 32 balls, while taking 3 for 10. Because most of the matches he played are unofficial, his average couldn't be configured. But because he was not out in his previous 14 of the 15 matches he has played, it could wenn be past the 1000 mark. "He makes our gram proud," said the member of the gram, who has seen his match. "His bowling speed could be well over 95 mph," said his teammate Mijanur Uddin. However, once we have used a radar gun, it showed at 72MPH. This guy is just 19. Wait until he's a few more years older. The next BD Star!!!

man these days everyone around here be guaranteeing this and that. Have you heard of this guy before until this 2 centuries? Don't you think you are jumping on the gun a bit by guaranteeing?

We do have one season wonders in NCL, especially when national players were not around, who later turned out to be very mediocre players. Examples - Golam Rahman and Nazmus Sadat. Mind you, those two were also part of different age group and BKSP teams.
Anyway, all the best to Asif.
