Default Swann arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.

Nottinghamshire have confirmed that England offspinner Graeme Swann was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving in the early hours of Friday morning.

The Daily Mirror reported the story, saying Swann had been stopped near his home in the West Bridgford area of Nottingham and his club said they would be making no further comment.

A spokeswoman for Nottinghamshire police said: "A 31-year-old man was arrested on Byron Road, West Bridgford, at 3.23 am on Friday, April 2 on suspicion of drink-driving."

Swann, who was named Man of the Series against both South Africa and Bangladesh during England's winter tours, told the Daily Mirror he had no comment to make. Swann is due to head to the World Twenty20 at the end of April.

Disappointing really. I like Swann. Seemed like a really good bowler. These sort of things should be unacceptable.

These things aren't acceptable at all, they put lives on the lines. But he still is a good bowler.

Garry Sobers, Alvin Kallicharan, and Rohan Kanhai were all rum suckers. The difference here is that they put that aside and were focusing on cricket 100% when needed.

This is another way of expressing that someone is getting popular.

That’s some news! Only a good lawyer will be able to help him against these allegations. My uncle got to keep his license after DUI charges, all thanks to his Los Angeles DUI attorney who helped in reducing punishment and also helped him get back his license.

He was cleared in February 2011, on the grounds that the blood sample could not be used as evidence.

Anyways I found it strange that your first comment was about an article in 2010
