the "new" ball...where do they come from? obviously not from an international match...do they come from domestic matches or what?

and how long has this ball change rule been around...can't remember it during the last WC?

Can Zim cross 240, then that will be a testing total for Shak

Extremely harsh! His Eco is still very good and it matters the most in ODIs.

Also cant expect him to pick up wkt with each delivery

The way zimbabwe is playing now...if they manage to do it for next 10 overs and slog in last 10..then i think they'll easily reach 180+....& that'll be a tough task for our batsmen in this wicket...
Shuvo isn't a international standard bowler...a mediocre bowler like him can cost a match in the WC

Sakib has made a wrong decision.

ZIM were in 21/3, instead of going for the kill by bringing Razzak or himself on, he brought Nayeem into the attack and continued for 7 overs. There were left/right combination in the crease and no need to bring Nayeem. It gave ZIM batsmen to settle down and be set in the crease. Now the result of that poor decision is showing.

May be. But he is very ordinary in OD cricket, even in Domestic level. He is a good FC bowler though. I would like to see him Tests not in ODIs.

Rubel should have played instead of him in this game.

earlier I saw Jamie Siddons and the Zimbabwe coach Alan Butcher having a very animated and long conversation....nd it seemed like siddons was agreeing with the spiteful things Butcher was talking about....bit unprofessional of Siddons I'd say especially in the middle of the game...

Another example of Aussie arrogance. Thinking about the money paid to him, he should be more dedicated to his job responsibilities at least on field.

Rubel should have played instead of Shuvo.....he might come handy in this condition...and also could get good match practice....but our moron selectors..what can we say about them??!!

I think Shakib made a mistake by bowling Naeem after the fall of 3rd wicket when Tabu walked in. He should have gone for the kill and should have bowled Razzak immediately. That would have made Zim extremely nervous. Instead Naeem allowed them to get used to the condition and settled down.

But Taibu and Ervine have applied themselves manfully. Good show of characters!
