Default Rafique the Lion Heart

This is a tribute to a man who is definitely the major architect of our first innings lead. The man with a big heart and a stomach for a fight! His second 5-fer during which he bowled 1/3 of all the overs today was truly magnificient performance given the extremely hot conditions out there. He did a great job of attacking and containing at the same time with immaculate discipline.
Thank you very much for the memories! Keep making us proud Boss

Rafique did all the work but Kapali was smart, he mopped the tail (a very weak one) with a hat-trick, paji polapine.

Whatmore wnated individual performance and we sure did see some great individual performances by both our bats and bowls and Rafique has simply designed our first wicket lead by taking the big wickets.

Great job Rafique. Unfortunately, look like he wil have to do some batting as well.

Default Hats off to Rafique

45 overs bowled--what a warrior!
Delivered all the crucial breakthroughs for us. Salaam Sir!

I wish our batsmen had the temperament to keep a cool head and build on the hard work. Unfortunately, that was not to be. Mature, Bangladesh! Mature!

Rafique did a great job! And to think this is just a regular guy with regular physique and hobbies. No hyperextending limbs (ala Murali) or special text messaging skills (ala Warne). Just a hard working guy comitted to his craft.

Why is there always a controversy over picking Rafique? He is Bangladesh's best bowler, even with Masri improving. Yet he still gets left out (tests in Aus being last example). I was a fan of Moni, who bowled very similar long stretches, but rafique is a better wicket taker. I wonder why BCB derailed him a couple of years back, and if Bangladesh would have performed better with him in the team during those dark days.

Default Rafiq the warrior prince

Enamul huq Moni was considered as a better cricketer than rafiq not only for bowling but also Enamul's batting, although Enamul failed to show anything with bat and ball. Anyway finally selectors selected Rafiq and he proved them RIGHT

Thanks again RAFIQ BHAI for such wonderful,labourous,economic,hard-working,effective,enjoyable bowling
