PWC ratings after Peshawar: Sumon 24th

Bangldesh's highest ranked batsman Sumon now ranks 24th, as good as Sarwan and higher than Laxman, Tilekaratne, Thorpe, Trescothick and Jayasurya.

Bangladesh's highest ranked test bowler Rafiq now ranks 44th, an advance of 9 ranks from before.

Had he converted that 97 into his third century, his ranking would have been higher.

That's really cool. WTG Sumon! I hope he keeps it up and someday become the top ranked batsman in the world!!! I think it is possible for him. How many other batsman do we know in the world cricket who is as consistent as Sumon? Only the great ones like Tendu, Lara, Dravid etc.
He may not score a tripple ton but if he keeps his consistency up, he'll be atop someday!!!
