Meh...why not?

We need to play as much as possible, and our fixture list isn't exactly overflowing. With India never inviting us to tour, and Pakistan desperate for some cricket on home soil...sounds like a win-win for all concerned(expect for our on field performances, I expect all of those to be losses)

Maybe, Pakistan tour is a good idea provided given promise of good security. And Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are different. However, I am a little concerned about the timing of the present series and future series given the trial that is going on in Dhaka.

Why would they want to tour Pak? Is it some kind of experiment, ie Bangladesh travel and prove that its safe? Why can't they play in UAE?

That was uncalled for. People aren't saying that we don't need the cricket matches - they're expressing concern over the security situation in Pakistan. Which we obviously have the right to do. As the posters above said, why can't this be hosted in the UAE - just like the other Pakistani home games in recent times?

I hope you are not representative of the current Pakistanis. If yes, then your country have not changed at all from 1971, although I have met some decent, rational Pakistanis in the US.

If you are not desperate for teams to tour your "safe" country, especially after the umpteenth betting scandal involving your team, this time with a Mazhar Majeed, you can keep playing in UAE, for all I care, until Kiyamat arrives.

Unnecessary comments by Ace_of_BD, I thank the mods for banning him. It's not a wise decision in touring Pakistan, players lives are at stake. There are bomb blasts and terrorist attacks occurring every month, situation hasn't been stable and it seems like getting worse day by day. If Pakistan can guarantee safety for our players then BCB should send our players, or else why not tour to Bangladesh again and we split the profit?

What a load of crap, Muddassir. Cricket is a sport, some suck, some excel. BD happened to be the worse team compared to Pak. So what? It doesn't imply that you have some supetiority over lower ranked countries.

Pak wants to prove that their land is safe enough to host other countries, in order to prove it they want BD to tour, but imo BD is not the right "indicateur"
To prove the security Pak need to make India visit them, if nothing goes wrong than others can visit.
