Great thread brother Awla....takes us back through nostalgia

The 1st win is still clear on my mind....that was the first win of the year...

The kits were on a hue of dark, dark green....nothing compared to the carnival-like, eye catching, fire red and neon green now.)

Mahmudullah and Shafiul's unbeaten 58 was one of the moments of the 2011 WC for me....I saw that match on a rebroadcast the same day because our television stations were showing a much high rated match involving two big teams....

Who remembered Mushfiqur's stumping of Trott?

We need Taijul Islam for tests against England... Taijul +Jubaer +Shakib...

Pitch should be batting friendly but just enough juice in the pitch for spinners to extract turn and bounce...

All three matches Bangladesh won have been very very close, went right down to the wire... + Johnathan Trott the superstar batsmen

England are very technically sound but their problem is that they play too much cricket all the time so even though the players are very technically sound they can't always put their best performance

I got the scorecards for the 3 matches in the OP:

1) July 10, 2011 @Bristol:
http://m.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/...ch/426404.html

2) World Cup win at Chittagong, 2011:
http://m.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/...ch/433585.html

3) World Cup win at Adelaide, 2015:
http://m.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/...ch/433585.html

**************

FUN FACTS
- Imrul Kayes was the top scorer in the first two matches
- mahmudullah's last two innings were unbeaten, match winning
- in the last 4 matches between the teams, BD has won 3 of them..

*******

NB: post reply...after looking, I saw that the OP had the scorecards included...my bad

Instead of editing, I leave it as it is....brought some different perspective in my pov.......
