Venkatpathy Raju, the ex Indian player recommended Mosha. Otherwise no selectors would have dared to pick him I reckon. Anyway I don't care about that anymore, since that guy's career is as dead as it can get. The selectors even picked Nasir in the squad. Now it's up to the team management to do the right thing because they select the XI.

Whoever keeps bringing back Hom needs to have his citizenship revoked and then deported

Fact is. Man like Mullah has done jack at test cricket, no ton at home only averages 31!

Seniors don't get dropped and at least Mehedi showed he has something with the ball.

Hom has played 10 tests, that is more than enough and has shown absolutely nothing. The shocking part is Mossadek was in contention for the second test then all of a sudden few days ago reports starts coming in that Hom will be playing, WTF?

^seniors don't get dropped? This isn't pkistan. Senior has been a poor test form and averages 31 batting at 4 is laughable.

Even if they don't get dropped. Senior should be taking responsibility, no?

Farooq wasn't perfect but with him it was at least one mistake. Now it's 3-5 blunders! I miss Farooq

I would like to have the previous selection structure back and headed by Faruk as the chief selector. Atleast he followed a method (domestic stats + actual viewing of the players during match) unlike our current selection panel who selects players with ordinary domestic stats . It's detrimental to have the head coach and the team manager as selector as it turn out to be after so many selection howlers post Faruk era. Like every other Test playing countries our head coach should give his recommendations to the selection panel , but should not be part of it.

Our head coach CH is a great coach, but he is a pretty ordinary selector ! It's a FACT !

With the assumption that currently there is a selection problem:
Bringing back Faruk is not going to solve it by keeping the revamped selection process. This revamped selection process will bring the same result (good or bad) regardless whoever are the three selector. They are not the key players in the new process.

I am so happy that Faruk stood up and protested the revamp of the process and refused to stay as the chief selector. Can you imagine what would happen today? He would be the favorite punching bag for all ( and the real decision maker will avoid all the heat).

You guys really don't know who is mainly responsible for the selection of Hom and Rabbi in the team or just too afraid to speak out loud?

Its NOT that (unlike Naisr and Al-Amin) Hom and Rabbi was selected in the final 14 but was never selected in final 11. It's complete opposite to Nasir and Al-Amin's case, they (Hom and Al-Amin) were selected because some one wanted them in the final 14 so that they can be selected in the final 11. The toothless 3 selectors (in the new process) accommodated Haturu Daa's demand here.

btw I am not for Hom or Rabbi or against their selection. I am neutral here. Specially Hom, I think he is kind of playing good filler role before someone better comes and get that slot.

What I hate is when we want a head of one person(s) for someone else's action. That is so unfair... that is the part I hate.

If Hom ever played to his ability, he could have been a very useful player for us. He would be like Johan Botha.

He is a hack, but hacks can score some runs in the end of the innings plus his bowling is actually half decent in SC wickets so I can understand his selectiong for BD team in ANY FORMAT in the subcontinent.

But playing Hom in NEW ZEALAND of all places is like asking Chris Martin to open the batting in a world cup.
