Is it a trial or will it last forever (with limited features)?

I got Cricket 2004 a few months ago. And am addicted to it! The Bangladesh team is OLD...Hanna Sarker and the likes. Aftab and Ashraful are missing ofcourse.

has anyone, by any mighty chance, has got their hands on the full version of the game ? BC members from England... u guys should get it before anybody else, as EA released the game in England first. Aussie release is still a couple days far...

I have played most of the popular cricket games (pc based) out there, but am yet to try out Cricket 2005. I had a big problem with the bowling controls in the last version that I played on. I don't know if there was anything wrong with my version (cracked, mind you) - but it was very frustrating. I gave up on it after a month's vigil. I'll have to download this one and give it a whirl.

CB, how'd you compare EA's Cricket 2005 with the Lara series ? ( i.e. cricket 2004 and Lara 2004 ) ?

I always preferred Lara 2004. The graphics are better, and they pay better attention to the details. EA's Benaud commentary is boring too.

I don't think it will stay that way for much longer. It's all to do with the brand name "EA Sports". The thing I noticed with the Brian Lara demo is that the game was a bit simple and childish. Having said that it was only a demo and not the hardest level possible.
Cricket 2005 is much more about the cricket itself and has got rid of most of the bugs from Cricket 2004.
