How to win away from home?
Hardly win any matches away from home.
What needs to be done to increase our chances of winning away?
Got whitewashed by NZ, SA, and recently Afghanistan...
How do we overcome this problem?

Most of our upcoming series is away from home..
What can we expect from new coach? Can he pull us some good results in West Indies?

Stop picking guys who are inconsistent (Liton Das in LOI) and in poor form (Sarkar). And instead give younger guys a chance.

There is no simple and immediate solution to this as there are many issues. But main problem is with players. Also there are issues of different pitches and format. These things are too complex for the simpleton thinktank at BCB. But one problem that I hopefully is solved is Walsh moving away from coaching us.

One thing to remember is that all south asian teams struggle to win a match in NZ , Aus and SA , can hardly expect Bangladesh to win test matches there . I would rather focus on winning in places like WI and SL

I will now attempt to solve a age old Bangladeshi sporting problem....Winning away from home.
Solution: Don't tour overseas.
Thank me later!

Hire our Women's coach as special advisor for our boyz team. She may teach them how to play for win in difficult situations.

Something similar to what they did before the 2015 WC.
Mahmudullah I think trained on concrete strips to prepare for the extra bounce in Australia and NZ.
It's not hard fellas.
Simple things being done on repeat. Repetition is the recipe for domination.
Write this mantra down in Bangla, and stitch it on the team jersey.

1. Give bora Khasi Sodka at Pagla Bab/Peer Baba' Mazaar
2. Kangali-bhoz before leaving for foreign tour.
3. Arrange/organize Milawd, Owaz and Dua Mehfil before match tart.
4.

Coach Haturasinghe set that up. another reason why I have so much respect for him and speak so highly of him. people don't realize good things until they are gone.

Find players suited to the format who are consistent and have talent plus some brains and work ethic. Doesn't have to be like Sanga or Kohli. And secondly pick those players and back them by giving them a long run in the team.
Stop picking bits and pieces guys like Saifuddin, Shubashish, Hom, or guys who just don't have the consistency or talent like Al Amin or Tanbir.

Haturi was a discipline-centric coach. He knows the potential of his players. He used that to his advantage. Brought out the best of them.
Look how he transformed a guy like Kusal Mendis (one of my favorite new players on the world stage), he sent the guy up to open the batting in T20Is, and now he's opening in Tests.
Talent- is something you have to find. But the most crucial thing that a coach(a good one) looks for is to bring out the best in his players. It's a team sport. Everyone has to pull their weight.

Have to change the approach according to the conditions. Can't prepare for England, Australia, NZ pitches by playing in BD pitches. Make pitches similar to those and have your players practice on it.
Pick players who have shown consistency in their respective formats and have a stable XI. Last series we witnessed too many cuts and chops. Have a stable batting and bowling lineup so they can get into a rhythm.
It's not hard. Just gotta have that vision.

Steve Rhodes need to take control of selection.
Seems like Taskin is back in the national team!!!
Rhodes was a scout for England nats team.. so can identify real talents that deserve to be selected
What’s the need of picking deadweight like Taskin again? .

Is your Whatsapp group affiliated with the BCB or selectors?

Oh. I don't use Whatsapp though. And we really need to get over players who have failed.

Nope. But latest news from articles/TVs/social media gets posted very fast.
Taskin was travelling with the team to West Indies (Embassy-US) (picture was posted) in Whatsapp Group.

Probably saw him on someone's social media while training with the squad. I saw Nurul on Tamim's Instagram video of the women's team celebration.

Oh that makes sense.
Is taskin willing to learn from past mistakes?
