A very weird speculation
I just can't resist to open this thread!
I was going through BBC website and found that someone said that Bangladesh might play in the final against Australia in this years WC! Do you know how? Listen- all the three sub-continent teams have played the last three world cup finals against Australia. SriLanka did it in 1996, Pakistan did it in 1999 and finally India did it in 2003. So thats leaving us the only country from the sub-continent to play the final! Come on Tigers! Let's do it! NB: Please don't blame me for opening this thread. At least I tried to provide some entertainment  It's just for fun and we know how difficult it is. We all should hope for the best and be ready for the worst.click here for the BBC article.

 Our time has not come, may be 2011! The article is another money-related Indian drivel to justify why they should win the WC. The author mentions Indian "sub-continent" and "Pakistan" just to make it sound like they give a hoot about cricket in region, and then goes on about India. Indians don't care about the WC coming to anywhere else "subcontinent", they obviously want it for themselves, but mainly because they "profit" the most from their billion+ population. It's just one Paki commenter who points out that BD should play in the WC final being the remaining sub-continental team.

you just made a new believer of pattern out of me... sounds just about right to me... 96- Srilanka- won 99 - Pakistan - lost 03 - India - lost 07 - Bangladesh (??) - Win ( ??) One more imaginary pattern...(made by me) 75, 79 WC - WI 83 - India ( sub continent, against all odds) 87 - Australia ( again surprising) 93 - Paikka ( against all possible odds, remember they we all out for 74 in one game?) again from sub continent 96 - SL ( against all odds again) 99,03 Australia ( convincingly) Who knows... 07 - sub continental team again, and as we are taking turns in winning cups, looks like its our turn this time ( !!!!!!!!!!!!) It is literally us (s-c team) vs rest of the world... it would take even the biggest believer of miracles to have a second thought about it... but then again... miracles do happen... hey.. we did beat Aussies once..didnt we?? up until then.. wasnt it like a sweet dreams to us that we could beat the Numero Sumpreme Uno of world cricket...?? keeping my fingers, legs, whole body crossed...

hmm..
Think of this. We're hoping for a upset against India or Sri Lanka(More India than Lanka). India are aware that we have the potential take them out. What are the bermudian supporters doing though? We might be in for a nasty surprise
