Tagore Songs' Text

Any online place where I can find text for Tagore songs? Searched in google.. no luck! Damn bengalis suck!! they have nothing.

I need to know the complete text for few songs..... currently want "Momo chitte niti nritte ke je naache..."

Plus anywhere I can download this in mp3 format... preferably good sound quality! Those online rm are crap.

also need a bangla -> english dictionary.

so far my search term gave bangladict.org but I don't see any field to search.

Zunaid Kazi's bangla dictionary is only English - Bengali unfortunately!

Better yet, If anyone can just give me some link of a site that has most of tagore SONGS' translation in English would be nice or any books that has such compilation ?

actually I am listening to momo chitte from that site... I don't see the relevent lyrics - I am looking for that.

And you have any better quality than that even in your hard drive

Nasif bhai, I know what you are talking about. I am not that dumb man.. come on! But that link is now saved though - thanks to you - I actually went through the list and it has some that I want... (now need the corresponding english version - yes my bangla sucks)

In my last reply, I was referring to the translation of Momo chitte.. I searched a while... i guess I gotta head to one of those bangla stores sometimes soon...

Thanks again though.... I just think someone should make a website where they have all the lyrics ever w/ translation in english, french and spanish... with selected songs in HINDI

Shame on Bangla ppl.

Those damn bengalis include me and you, who, in spite of having such urge, will never step up to take initiative, but would yell at others for not being a pioneer. And being dummy in bangla should have nothing to do with this. Passion is all that counts. Yeah, we suck.

Well I was referring to ppl who "devoted" their life to the works of Tagore. People who spent so much time behind this that their uncut hair and bearded face starts to resemble Rabindranath - I think it is their duty to promote tagore via whatever means.... i.e. internet.

So people like us, who has keen INTEREST (yes URGE) in understanding them can do so. I mean we all grew up with tagore songs and we all love em but it is hardly a "passion" for us to decipher every single poem, songs or dramas that he composed and make other people understand the depth of his writing... SCREW YOU!!

I like to give priorities to things....
So do "we" suck? NO! Does the devotees of Tagore sucks! Hell yeah! There are ppl who are making money off tagore... they should be doing that. Bastards!!

I hope you get my point.. I am not really good at expressing my self...

You will find the lyrics of whole bunch of songs and musical plays (those are compiled in Geet Bitan) in HERE

But their main page seems all screwed up. I have visited other pages, those work fine, but the main page is messed up.
