Four-dayers would be nice, but ODI te maan shomman bachano is more important. 5 is a good number - the captain won't have an excuse if they bat us out in 6 overs in the real games.
It's as if we're playing a series against the AIS as well. But 6:30 am starts?

Nice one ATMR.
We are having two series in one tour. wow!! ek dhiley tui pakhi. One with AIS (4 game series), one with Australia (3 game series). Winning one game in each series would make me very happy.

AIS are facing Australia on the 28th ... CA wouldn't feed their young upcoming players to big boys would they? AIS are probably an established team. I would have like d for us to face off against Tasmania, Queensland, NSW etc. you'd figure you would figure to get something with the Siddons connection and all

i'm sure the AIS series will be good enough. our boys can lose to anyone just as they could beat anyone.
it is really a 2 series tour...not bad at all...
we need our 4 day matches before our Test tour next year.

nobody ever ever says that in a match thread, we always expect victory and more than 80% of time we face defeat!

I am willing to sacrifice all AIS games if we win one against Australia.
By the way, why all tournaments are not held in Australia? That needs to be the norm. Perfect timing for us in USA, canada. Thik kaj sheshey aisha khawa niya TV'er shamney boisha poro.

D/N Games in Aus mess up the sleeping patterns, but regular starts and tests are perfect
West Indies Tours are the best timing wise, Unless you have work or school, Games in England and Africa are not that Bad 6 Am are the only set backs, NZ tours are the Same Aus.
It's the tours in Subcontinent the eff up sleeping patterns

Bangladesh tour of Australian Inst. of Sports I see......
I hope AIS sent their best players in Olympics to participate in some events and we can thrash the left over squad....

why did they schedule the NT match right before the ODI series? are they expecting a definite win so they put it there to make sure the boys would go in with confidence and winning momentum? imo not such a good move, NT quality is so low that it will be a shock when they play the first ODI. would be much better if that match was at the start of the tour, that way BD would get some good matches against decent bowlers/batsmen (AIS). jumping from NT bowlers/batsmen to aussie national bowlers/batsmen=not a good idea. also if aussie selectors are looking to give some young players a bit of a trial and experience then they'll do it in this series.

A series draw with AIS and good fighting matches against Australia will keep me more than happy with this tour. This is a tour where we have nothing to loose than everything to gain.
