Default Who is the chor?

As I write this I am struggling to solve a minor domestic crime/problem. Today at 12.30 pm I found out that my super duper power drill, (black &decker , and all the best frills available, valued at 150$) was spirited away from my garage. I was'nt at home.
The twist to this crime report is that it was found out by my landscape contractor, r.Rodes at 13.00 hrs est. He had 5 guys at the moment working at the back yard rectifying a drainage problem. Suspects are easily rounded up but it is not that simple.

So anyone who has played Cluedo should ponder at this dilemma for a few minutes:

Here are the facts:

1) last time me or my venerable family members, (including my mother in law and her bhai who are isiting the household from distant Bd), saw the object at 8 pm last night.

2) last time my contractor saw the drill was
at 9 am this morning

3) last time my wife saw it was never. (she does't know what I am talking about)

4) The garbage man came at 8 am and left at 8.10 am ( sort of rules him out)

5) at 11.20 am we had a visitor. Left at 1pm.

Other minor details:

-garage door is usually left open
-no crime history in the neighborhood
-neighbors a delight
-have been known to misplace stuff but have done a thorough search
- my wife is not keen about my hobbies/tools

This is interesting.

I think it was your wife who stole it. Now she is pretending not to know what you talkin g about. Very fishy!!

Then again you are obviously suspecting your visitor - no relationship was mentioned, I wonder why? Which also makes me doubt YOU. Perhaps it WAS you who removed it and trying to blame it on the "visitor". I am sensing some sort of vendetta here.

By the way, how old is your brother in law? Does he use the net.... I would strongly recommend you search your history files for any transaction on Ebay!

speaking of honesty.. from Star magazine..

Corny Joke 1

That's Strange!
Aman named William Strange died, and his friend asked the tombstone maker to inscribe on his tombstone: "Here lies Strange, an honest man, and a lawyer."

The inscriber insisted that such an inscription would be confusing, for passers-by would tend to think that three men were buried under the stone. However, he suggested an alternative.

He suggested the following: "Here Lies a Man who was BOTH honest and a lawyer."

That way, whenever anyone walked by the tombstone and read it, they would be certain to remark: "That's Strange!!"
