Michael Holding played his last ODI in 1987: didnt get to see him play unfortunately. he is one of my fav. commentators
Viv Richards played his last ODI in 1991: got to see him play
Gordon Greenidge played is last ODI in 1991: got to see him play
Kapil Dav played his last ODI in 1994: got to see him play
i started following cricket at the early 90s and i have seen most of the cricketers .. except for some new faces.
as for my fav. cricketer. Jayasuriya all the way. I have met him twice personally. He is awesome and i can tell you this much.. his forearm is HUGE.

i like tendulkar because he can play shots on any side of the wicket .hits the ball in between fileders,in gaps and make it so easy....
for me he is the best eventhough he is a little bit down now ad ays due to injuries.
but you have to give respect because he played almost 15 years and still he is maintaining the average ,making centuries...
tell me who is the other player doing like this..
i will accept that don bradman is gr8 player .

dude! I never disrespected Tendulker. I did say that once his technique was flawless.
Don Bradman scored 29 centuries 52 matches ave'ing almost 100! You can't tell me that he just hit the ball hard to do that.
A lot of players making centuries at the late stage of their career and maitaining a good average. Just look at Steve Waugh or Brian Lara. Tendulker is a great player; No Question. But Sir Don Bradman is in another level.
