Default \'Free Hit\' in Twenty20 Match

I never saw any Twenty20 Match live before until today.
So, today I found out there is a FREE HIT Rule in Twenty20 match.

If a bowler bowls a foot-fault No-Ball, the batting side gets a additional balls as usual but it’s a FREE HIT Ball which means the batsman is free to hit the ball anyway and he will not get out except run-out. But in regular cricket match, batsman will not get out only in the ball being called NO and the additional ball is a regular ball. I did not know about this Twenty20 FREE HIT rule before.

If these Twenty20 matches become widespread international match one day, I guess Bangladesh will have better prospect in this. Because it is easier to do good in shorter version matches.

Dont count on that. Then we will have trouble finishing 20 overs. Whatmore will tell our players just try to play all 20 overs.

Yea 20-20 is still too long for us.

We will do better in 10-10 or 5-5 games. When 5-5 is comming?

The only safe game for us is 10-10 ( 10 balls not overs).

The free hit thing...

I remember Brad Haddin taking stance behind the stumps for the free-ball. He said later that doing that gave him more time to sight the ball and give it a good whack (if the ball didnt hit the stumps) and if the abll hit the stumps, he was hoping that it would ricochet off to the boundary. haha..

in 20-20 we need bowler like shoaib to play against us. we'll win for sure just by scoring on the free hit balls that shoaib has to ball after each no ball.
