Default End of Zimbabwe Test Cricket

Sad development.

Government takes over Zimbabwe Cricket

And now the end is near.. Martin Williamson

Reaction

I feel really sad for the Zimbabwe cricket fans. There is no light at the end of the tunnel, as it seems now. But we have seen Govt falls in our own country. Hoping for the best. May be Taibu will make a permanent decision on staying in BD.

The government really does not care about their own citizens. A despot is a despot is a despot. A sad day. A sad day for cricket.

(Yawn)...colonialist propaganda..Zimbabwe will take her rightful place in world cricket....They have plenty of "Home-Grown" talents that will step up to the plate now. The power base of cricket is steadily shifting & the ex-masters need to wake up to a new & free Zimbabwe. No amount of biased propaganda will be able to stop them as long as the Zimbabweans take firm and ruthless steps to set things straight.

Really? Not paying the players for the past two series, and chairman spending millions of $ is a propaganda? Either Taibu and other black Zimbabwe national players (the home grown talent that you refered) are liars or you are wrong. There is no middle ground.

1st time in the history on a multi-poll all options having the same percentages. what a tie.

Great idea Cricman. can someone enlighten CB? Seems like they are incapable of thinking of these sort of ideas.

I can't understand how anyone could possibly justify not stripping them of test status. With a proper board in place they could still field....

Campbell
Goodwin
Flower
Flower
Ervine
Carlistle
Taibu
Streak
Blignaut
Price
Olonga

Well the verdict is out. It is the end of Test Cricket in Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe suspend themselves from Tests
They are trying to make Andy Blignaut as their captain. And he is not in Zimbabwe and on his way to quit (as per Cricinfo)
New cleansed Zimbabwe board states its aims

Douglas Hondo?
